Does anyone know if these suppressors actually keep you off the radar? I know they say they do in the descriptions, but it doesnt seem like it.

I can't tell you for sure but it does feel like it for me. I like to rock a suppressed ACE 52 CQB in maze-like places like the D objective of Silk Road and I just run around shooting guys and don't get hunted down like I would w/out it.

Its hard to tell because I'll kill someone then move and a couple of guys will round the corner and go directly for me. Its hard to know because of spotting, UAV, squad voip or TS. A few times on flood zone I've killed a couple guys in the stairwells, then went high and in one of those shacks to recover, and someone will run right in there and blast me. Not even initially look the other way. I know I'm taking a damage penalties using suppressors, so if it doesnt actually work I might take them off. Although I do like the look, so I might just live with it. I am curious though.

YES SIR! Haha, the P90 is a mean little machine, especially on Locker. I think I got all the unlocks in 3 or 4 games on Team DM one night. The large magazine allows me to rampage on fools or just suppress hallways.

I pre ordered this game and supposedly you get the first map pack but whenever I try to join a server playing a China Rising map, I get the message that I need to download the pack first. Does anyone else have this problem?

Even got a popup ad today when I launched Origin saying that thanks to my premium membership, I can now play four new maps.

When I go into game properties, it says that China Rising will be available on Dec 16.

Game has been pretty good for me, random crash here and there. Some bad days too, but server patches fixed that.

I had two machine lockups in the last 12 hours or so, and none before that. Seems audio related, as the sound was looping. I think both times I was using voip. And another two or so regular crashes.

Yeah its lame. I dont think it actually repeats though. Just the same attachments for different guns.

You know, I was going to join your game yesterday and when I saw the current scoreboard it was 4x-1. I said to myself..."F*ck that...I dont want to be on the other end of that.", then joined someone elses game.

So last night I completely unlocked the M4. I will probably use this with all classes except Support (M-TAR21), because I can conserve ammo better with the M4 due to the effective burst fire. Plus, it looks cool! Using coyote, green laser, R2 suppressor and stubby.

I've more or less given up on trying to stay off the radar. Commanders ruin the fun of flanking on Lockers. The only gun that I use a suppressor on is the UMP-45, only because it's a beast. I'm really surprised at the amount of one vs one battles that I win with it.

for all bf4 non premium members who pre ordered bf4 and have china rising dlc can play it.

all you have to do is login with someones premium id on your pc, update the game then login with your own non premium id.
this has worked for me and my friends

I must say the Double XP week and weekend have been good for me. I've been stacking the double xp with 200% and 100% boosts. Each ribbon nets you 1200 pts with 200%, so you just play locker and drop ammo or health at choke points.

I've gone up 30 ranks thanks to the double xp, it's been pretty sweet. I think I'm now lvl 82? Not bad for someone who can't really play much thanks to a newborn!
