After watching the video, I really hope they take away the garbage "oh, it is extremely bright outside from the sun, but this flashlight attachment is going to blind you from 50 yards away". Such a stupid feature in BF3.

did you actually watch the video? because lasers and tac lights are in it, and you have answer...

The Alpha actually feels quite a bit different than BF3 to me. It might just be the guns, but the hit boxes seem different.

Would you say it feels more like Bad Company 2? BF3 never really "felt right" to me. Something just seemed a little different. I liked the guns/hitboxes/something a lot better in BC2.

I did, and I don't recall seeing any of the "omg blinding light for no logical reason" stuff, but I could have just missed it.

I really liked the way BC2 felt. I don't know if it was just the engine, the weapons, the maps or a combination of all of that. BF3 didn't feel as "good" for some reason. Could have just been because it has been so long since BF2, but I don't know. I didn't play the first BC though.

I honestly can't comment on that. Mostly because I only have a few hours logged because of(insert curse word here) work. I tried to play all of the classes equally in my short amount of testing. From what I've noticed, the recon class is most definitely not boring as stated above. The addition of C4 will, with out a doubt, add some excitement to that. It's very hard for me to get a true "feel" for the game since the graphics are dumbed down and I've been playing against players with high pings.

If I get a computer that can max out Battlefield 4 at 1080p, will it last for a few years?

BF4 will NOT be the new graphics benchmark. I'm quite sure Metro LL and Crysis 3 are going to remain the watermarks for the time being for punishing graphics cards.

Though to answer your second question, if you max out BF4 at 1080p I imagine you'd be okay for about 2 years or so at least. Then it will surely be time to start dropping settings. That's assuming we're not all using the brain-feed consoles of the future by then.

why do people keep suggesting BF2 maps for the BF3 remakes


we all know metro will be in it, its the most propular bf3 map, we've heard that 100 times from DICE


In a Reddit thread, Battlefield 4 gameplay designer Alan Kertz said "[Operation] Metro and Caspian [Border] are runaway favorites" in popularity.

I haven't played BF in forever. Does anyone have a link explaining in detail the different modes? Like I don't know what Scavenger..etc is.
Also what are the real differences between BF4 and BF3...besides maps and graphics of course. Like what are players going to be doing differently and what other gameplay advantages will make 4 better?
