The HC friendly not showing up is be design, its suppose to take a second for friendly players to show up to make you watch fire in HC. That was explained way back when BF4 was being teased.

Actually, the Hardcore player icons constantly show for all friendly players EXCEPT for friendly SQUAD LEADERS. The friendly squad leader tags take a second to appear. Obviously, this causes confusion because there is an inconsistency in friendly icons. It should show ALL friendlies, or NONE.

Imagine playing and having to think "ok, that guy doesn't have an icon, so he is definitely not a standard friendly, so he is either a friendly squad leader or an enemy. Let me wait 1 second to see what happens..." This effectively adds 1000ms ping to your combat.

I play hardcore and squad leader and I am often team killed. I always !forgive the killer because I completely understand the problem.

Yeah, I miss that from BC2. I seem to remember being able to pretty readily distinguish between teams (and even classes) in it but I haven't been able to nearly as well in 3 or 4.

I miss a LOT of things from BC2. I actually do not play HC in BF3/4 because of some of the issues I have with it. In BC2 I only played HC.

I played a ton of BF3's HC TDM on the Noshar Canals map and the standard Russian uniform was very dark almost black, while the standard US uni was desert tan. This worked great for me until people started wearing the unlockable dark colored spec ops uni, then I was awfully bad about mistaking them for Russians. LOL

This morning I was playing TDM on locker with 64 players. I was having a good time helping my team and trying to get a couple of unlocks. Well, I was having a good time until the other team started spawn camping. I got killed 3 times in a row without moving 5 feet so I quit. I wasn't doing my team any good .

I'll say this again. These games needs bots to play against so noobs like me can get a feel for the game. Plus we wouldn't have to put up with spawn camping, hackers, lag, etc. /rant

I remember running into LeadMachine a few times in BF3....not a pleasant experience. His accuracy levels in both games are off the charts. If he isnt hacking, then he's definitely a twitch pro.

How the hell can you have 30% accuracy with the AEK, or in fact anything? Honestly I don't know what to think. All the really really good players I've ever known were roughly at 20%, and their skills were really incredible.

P.S. The 2nd guy just tanks a lot.

Titanfall will have bots. I prefer playing with actual players even though sometimes it can be frustrating. I remember when I started playing bf4 it was horrible for me but I got used to it. It has a different learning curve.

You're right, it can be very frustrating. Especially when the really good players have all the best weapons, attachments and gear. I throw one grenade when cornered and they throw 3 at me. A noob doesn't stand a chance lol.

Also, I just noticed that the servers must have crashed. Or at least the TDM servers. I also noticed that punkbuster is now off on all the TDM servers. I wonder if two issues are related?

After waiting in que, it starts to join the game then gives an error message something to the effect of server not found or "could not communicate with bf4 use task manager to close ..."and asks if I want to rejoin, then boots me to the back of the que again. Only does this on some servers, such as my favorite server. Been waiting about 20 minutes.
Any ideas?
As a side really like the game. Amazing actually. Wish they would never add new content - just get it stable.

I used to get that a lot but like you said, only with certain servers. Allegedly clearing cookies/cache/etc helps with it but it didn't seem to make a difference for me. Basically my friends and I would just find a different server or keep re-queuing until it eventually worked. I haven't had it in over a month though, and I think it only happened on one or two servers for me.

I'm thinking neither cheats. 2nd guy is an armor whore and nothing significant.

First guy is almost unbelievable but there are a couple of things that tell me he is not cheating. I look at stats of suspicious people on bf4stats.com because it gives me better stats. And two key things I look for are Kill Assists/Suppression Assists and Headshot/Kills percentage.

Aimbotters are typically headshot machines, getting kills as efficiently as possible. But normal players aren't like that. So normal players end up having very high kill assists/suppression assists scores, at least in line with the kills they are doing, which looks as I would expect for this guy.

So the second thing of course with Headshot/Kills % that would be ridiculous high on aimbotters. like at least 50% is getting to be near suspicious. His is only around 17%, which is not really much higher than mine.

This is my favorite bf game since bf2. That had the advantage of novelty, as well as most people using the mic. But this is technically way better. I really like the attack boat with TV.

I just played on a server in Chicago with every player with pings over 200ms with mine being 20ms. what the hell people. BF4 is much worse with this than BF3 was, BF3 had autokicking of high ping players, did they not have this plugin for bf4 or something?

My general accuracy is 14%, but my M98 accuracy is 31%. Decent, but its a sniper rifle so what do you expect?
