I was off of work all week, and got a lot of game time in. I was banned from a server because my actions in jets (attack & fighter) were too suspicious. They fraps'd me, and in my appeal on their forums, they said that they couldn't confirm or deny my actions and used a lame excuse to keep my ban enforced rather than overturned. Their reason... "Not sure if it's your ISP, or if you have some kind of lag switch that you're using." This on a hardcore server that I pinged low 20's.

Sorry for being better in jets than anyone in their platoon. Sheesh

I was in a server the other day that had some wonky rule about not using the anti-air vehicle (on Golmud Railway). Set up admin flash messages warning you if you kill someone with aa, warning to kick you after the 2nd kill, etc.

Wouldn't it just be easier to remove the aa from the map?

No kidding. You join a server because maybe it reads "mature players/mature admins", in the title, only to get kicked for owning an admin a few times. I swear that I'm making a list of platoons that kick or ban me (2 bans now...), and if I ever happen to be running my own server, I'm going to reciprocate the bans post haste if they ever venture into my turf.

Also, sorry for deleting you from my friends list. I always see you there, and it's always a normal server you're playing on. There just is no playing on normal servers for me after being completely addicted to the perks of hardcore mode. I'm not really friendly or a good conversationalist anyway, so you're not missing out.

I believe the reason they need to use these adminscripts is because else they no longer qualify as a ranked server and nobody would play there.
Just like it would be much easier for those no-explosives servers to just disable all grenades.

Don't feel too bad. I got banned from a server on Monday night for being "too good" by the admin kick message. Went back to ask about it and got a permanent ban. I've been playing there for months. :\

That's a new one. Most of the ones I play on say no shooting in/out of uncap. Most of that is to prevent the AA from camping back there. Never seen an outright ban. Must be a lot of pilots in their clan or something.

About 1 month ago someone said I was cheating on a server. I was having the game of my life no question about it but I wasn't doing crazy well. I had to thank the guy for the greatest compliant anyone has ever given me in BF4. I used to get that a lot in CS, but as a world class player with ranking playing on public servers you do kind of completely dominate the match and so I got accused of cheating a lot especially when I was just using a dessert eagle all the time. But my skills are no where near that sharp today. Its a great compliment to be accused of cheating, they think you are so good your skills can't possibly be human.

there was a guy with 90 kills and 1 death. even rambo or predator cannot get that kind of stats.

unless he had eyes on his back and eyes out of both ears with aim bot reflex and invisible shield.

There are some real douchenozzle admins out there. A while back I was playing on a domination server that had a no camping rule, which was fine by me, but these guys took it to extremes. I was playing as a recon and had set up a beacon upstairs in a house near a flag and all my squad would spawn there, after one particular spawn I ran to the nearest window and saw 2 guys running for our flag and I began shooting at them through the window, and that's when an admin in my squad spawned behind me and instantly kicked me for camping, WTF?!?!? I went back in and got into with the guy and a couple of his clan mates, and like you I ended up with a perma ban. LOL

You place the mortar and then ran into you spawn so you can't be killed and drop a ammo box. When they take out your mortar, you place a new and repeat.

Might have been a newb server so they didn't want anyone with too high a skill. I've run into a few of those.

I've had several annoying crashes lately. Anyone else? Seems to have started more often since the Naval strike expansion.

I've had two. This is how they both went.

Join game, play for 10 seconds, game crashes to desktop. Rejoin server, game hard locks as soon as the bf4 window appears, origin crashes. Reopen origin/bf4, everything is fine.

Like I said, It has only happened to me twice, but exactly as described above both times.

This isn't speculation. Examples of this have been posted on reddit. You can get some crazy KDR that way.

If they had n00b anywhere in the title or loading screen, or heck the admin messages I would agree. A few of their guys would beat up on me regularly. Not like I was the best person on the server by a long shot. I'd be in the top 5 on my side most of the time. KDR on their server was maybe 1.5-2 normally. Nothing spectacular. I can only assume that I killed one of their admins too many times in a row. The other assumption, that they want to curate a pool of players they can easily kill, is a little more unsavory.

This is probably what's going on. I've seen it happen on more than one occasion, and I distinctly got the feeling that they just wanted easy kills. Teams were stacked, they all had high KDRs. NODA was the platoon name that I witnessed this happening on last. If you can easily maintain 1.5-2 KDR, avoid any of their servers. They rope you in by being friendly, but ban you if you're too good.

I played a Locker match yesterday where one side had 4 - 6 lvl 120 guys and the rest on the team were all lvl 100+.

Completely stacked with us having 6 less people than them... nobody was interested in switching teams, just base raping the shit out of us.
