They need to work on the squad leader interface. It's so annoying I tend to just switch squads when I become SL. Marking an objective shouldn't be the same as spot ffs.

Not an issue on hardcore, as Q-spotting anything is near useless.

I still spam Q in HC, as you will still get spotting points if somebody does kill them.

They had the roofs locked down on Zavod and were chewing our team up, bleh! It figures that after I left the next round would go your way. LOL
Yep, firing any un-silenced weapon will light up your location for a few seconds, so it makes those camping snipers easy targets. I sometimes pull out the mortar when playing domination or rush, but usually only if my team is either getting trounced or dominating. Its a blast to use when teams are stalemated and people are stacked up on top of each other, just gotta watch out for your teammates/friendly fire on HC.This may be a dumb question, but as I don't use mortar/mobile artillery, does firing your weapon without a silencer on HC servers cause you to show up on their screens? I know it does on Normal mode and I know it use to do that in BF3.

Edit: Ive barely used the mobile arty, I think I have 1 kill with it. LOL
While there is no a mini map, the mortars and mobile arty are controlled by what looks a PDA screen that will have friendlies, and spotted enemies marked even on HC servers. Try them and can see for yourself when an unsuppressed enemy weapon fires.Incorrect. The only effect not using a silencer has on hardcore is making your gun louder for sound directional purposes. There are no enemy markers or minimap on true hardcore servers.

Last night it was like I was firing blanks again. I don't get it, ping was the same, other players had similar pings to normal and yet I was loosing every face to face battle and I was really struggling to finish people off before I ran out of bullets!
The ShadowPlay video shows that my accuracy was fine, I was shooting at the targets and locally it showed I was hitting them, yet they just were not dying. Yet the past week or so its been great, I haven't had this problem and I have been doing well, but last night it sucked. Still bugs in the netcode.....
