I miss BC2. For some reason I really played that game. BF3 and BF4 all I do is snipe because that's all I can stand to do. I mean I like sniping, but BC2 I really got in deep and played a lot of rush and loved the Vietnam expansion. I don't get excited about playing objectives in BF4 like I did with BC2. I stick to TDM now. Everything else makes me want to puke.

Why? TDM has to about the blandest mode there is. Literally no objective. Nothing to focus the fight.

Rush in BC2 was the mode to play,such a excellent fun mode.Even with 32 players it could be hell.

Some maps in Conquest like Heavy Metal could be frustrating,fight for B could be a pain in the ass lol.

Its a sniper only server so it has a unique dynamic that I like. Also, I saw something about BF Hardline premium for an additional $50.00 on Guru3d. Ridiculous. I won't even buy Hardline at all I don't think.

Rush can be fun on BF4, but I find a few things 1) map balance sucks for that objective-type and 2) clans destroying in a pub making the game unfair/unfun. Combine the two and it just becomes ridiculous for the first round.

I read about all the interesting hacks BF4 uses to push high frequency network updates in just the direction you are facing and such. It made me wonder though - did BF3 ever have HFNU? Because BF3's netcode was perfectly fine and BF4's has always been terrible. Why are all these hacks and such needed for BF4 when BF3 worked just fine from day 1?

Well they somehow manage to f up the game again with latest patch.
Whatever they did I like it, I was on a tear last night running around with a sniper. It was almost like I couldn't miss, even while no scoping in close quarters. Maybe I was just having one of those epic games, I dunno.

Whoa, whoa, whoa... Hold on there chief. That's bullshit plain and simple, the "died behind cover" thing in BF3 has been there from day 1 until the day I stopped playing it a bit before BF4 came out. High pingers always had an advantage. There were numerous issues with BF3 netcode.

It was decent, but far from perfect.

One thing Ive noticed over the last two days is that some servers seem to be having some pretty major lag issues while others run fine. On the bad ones you can see players and vehicles hitching and stuttering even while on the deploy screen.

Ive also notice some lighting issues. Sometimes everything looks really dark for no apparent reason, I noticed it this morning mostly right after aiming down the sights. I did just update to the latest Nvidia drivers after being on an older set for ages, maybe that's the cause. Anyone else seeing anything like that in game?

Saw this deploy lag as also a increase in random hit detection and a increase in instant kills.I guess if the freaking deploy screen has images of people lagging them its time to switch servers?

The biggest issue for me STILL since day 1 is the chat lag,its gotten so bad i could type hello to everyone and it will only appear if i die.I could type a bible verse and it simply only shows if i die or get killed in action.How does such a important vital component like simple communication become broken like this?

God forbid you make a stink about the issue in the game,people are so god damn stupid they tell you to get a new computer,as if a i7 3770 and a gtx970 is causing 5-10 minutes of chat lag....

Hmm,stock clocked cpu and gpu and i come across a crash,been a while but i don't care much for random game crashes for no apparent reason out of the blue on what is really a rock solid stable system.

Game hard locked on me when someone fired at me,i open up task manager to find the game has stopped responding.

I have had two random crashes since the last patch, before that I hadn't had one in ages. My son and I play together all the time and he has had zero problems. Our machines are similar, the only real differences being OS and video cards. He is running Windows 8.1 with a single video card, while mine is Windows 7 and SLI.

The FLIR scopes on armor are completely fucked now. Apparently they accidently put in some experimental build they were using for night maps.

I went and played a few rounds of CounterStrike the other night and wow it felt so good that bullets hit your target.
