I went and played a few rounds of CounterStrike the other night and wow it felt so good that bullets hit your target.

This. I've been at CS pretty heavy since January. Pretty much gave up on the BF series for now.

The FLIR scopes on armor are completely fucked now. Apparently they accidently put in some experimental build they were using for night maps.

So thats why I cant see shit through my tank thermals now. Everything is black, cant even stay on the road. ROFL

CS and BF use completely different models for hit detection - it's a very applies to oranges comparison. For starters, in CS you don't actually shoot any bullets :awe:

Real projectiles with travel time and drop are a bitch.

It was half and half, but more the 72 kills. Its like my 4th highest kill count or something. :whiste: Weirdly my highest ever was on a pistol only server.

I was just looking at your soldier page, our overall stats (KD, SPM, KPM) are nearly identical.

Solved my frequent crashing (every other game) by rolling back my Nvidia drivers. I knew it was either the latest drivers or the new patch since I updated them the day after the patch released. Thankfully it seems to have been the drivers as Ive not crashed once since Friday.

I can't play battlefield for more than 5-10 mins. Whenever I join sever game it runs smooth for few minutes and after that screen just goes black, the cursor starts to flash on top right corner and then windows message comes game stopped working.

Battlelogs gives few different messages mostly port "game disconnected please check your Internet provider" or 3659UDP.

Earlier I was also unable to play bf4 in full screen but found solution on bf4 forum - ending Samsung Magician.

here are things I have tried.

- updated GPU driver to latest version(Omega)
- repaired game didn't work. uninstalled game and again installed.
- updated directX and punk buster
- tried mantle and directX.
- uninstalled antivirus.
- adding game in the firewall exception list
- tried both chrome and firefox(latest versions)
- tried both bf4 X64 and bf4 X86
- tried running origin bf4 x64 and bf4 x86 as Administrator
- reinstalling battlelog plugin in both chrome and firefox
- port forwarding (using Smart Port Forwarding software)

Pc config:
Processor: Intel Core i5-4460
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B85-D3H
GPU: Sapphire HD 7870 XT With Boost (Tahiti LE)
OS: Windows 8.1 Fully updated
SSD : Samsung 120 GB 2.5 inch 840 EVO SATA III SSD

anyone knows any other solution

Try the 14.4 AMD driver. I had the least stability problems with it out of all the 14.x drivers.

ETA: Missed your game disconnect msg from battlelog. It may be more related to your ISP/connection.

I logged in to the CTE today and I noted most of the servers were running versions of Gunmaster, i guess that will be in one of the upcoming expansions.
IN The group I play with it is a favorite mode. We used to focus mainly on CTF, but we probably play more Gunmaster now. (in BF3, 4 CTF maps, 4 Gunmaster)

BF4 sucks. Bf3 sucked a little less. BF2 was fun.

Maps in BF4 are shit compared to BF2-3. CoD optimized and full of one shot wonders. EA sucked the life out of another great franchise.

Gunmaster has the ability to drive me insane like no other game mode. It totally sucks to come in second or third while knowing you were so close, and the winner obviously got some lucky spawn kills right at the end to beat you.

Yet CS's hitscanning much more realistically represents actual ballistics at the engagement distances in video games. The bullet velocity and drop are ridiculously unrealistic in BF4. Using a bolt action rifle feels like shooting a bow.

Only if you like playing metro and locker 24/7. The gravity is about 50% too much and the bullet velocity is around 2/3rds real speed.

Are you sure you are laying the blame on the right entity? Perhaps it's stupid DICE?
All the crashes Ive had in the past 6 months have all been Nvidia driver related, rolling back to a previous driver fixed my issues.

Just like people complaining about Vista, it was most likely due to the video drivers.

Try the hotfix drivers for Frostbite games.
