Pretty much, that means avoid Operation Locker until you develop some skills in the game. It also means to stick to the 64 player maps of everything else.

Thanks for the tips. I ran OL last night and it wasn't pretty. They should rename that map the Organ Grinder.

Looking forward to finally unlocking the Shotgun so I can go Rabbit hunting.

Nice! I was on there a couple of days ago, had the urge for a sniperfest. I was a little rusty but it all came back to me by the end of the first round.

Haha yeah, I think its insane that a bunch of snipers play on lockers, of all maps. Quite hilarious and fun. I joined the clan that runs that server.

Moon is a beast, that video was nuts. Those 3-1, and I think 4-1 encounters? Damn...

Recently I gave into the evil that is DMRs, and I don't run sniper often. It's taking me a bit to get used to both the speed of the bullets and the drop. When I switched a few weeks ago I decided on the SVD, and happened to have the FLIR 2x unlocked. I rarely use suppressors, but find them extremely useful for this setup.

That's several big changes for me, scopes and their delay in pulling up, FLIR, bullet drop on longer shots, and MORE bullet drop from the suppressor. Never really had to deal with any of this.

The setup I'm running is engineer, SVD (FLIR, laser, angled grip)/RPG/SLAM. It's a ton of fun, I can engage everyone.

also i never noticed how ridiculously good the lighting is in BF4, when sihloutted the character models look amazing

BF4 has had some crappy moments (bugs and whatnot). But when you think all that's going on at once, it is an amazing game (engine).

I still think they need to reduce the snow whiteout that makes you not see anything. :thumbsdown:

As annoying and rage inducing as some things are (playing against high pingers is still my biggest annoyance) its still the one game I keep coming back to. Ive tried a little of everything lately, but nothing compares to the fun I have in BF4.

This is the last video I post here for a while. I don't want to spam you guys, but I really think this one is HILARIOUS because its the exact opposite of using canted iron sights. For this round, I went crazy with the 40X scope! I was asked by a clan mate to try, so try I did. Scored 46-12 with 40X close range sniping Dawnbreaker.

Now that, I cannot do. I can do okay at point blank and very close ranges since its just snap shooting, but intermediate and longer range with a 40x, or even 20x, for me is next to impossible while moving. I always lose the guy during scope in and by the time I reacquire him Im a dead man.

One thing I like about em (when opponents use them) is you better not stand still because the glare off those things is like a spotlight, which makes you an easy target!

I tried launching BF4 for the first time today since I installed windows 10.

Game will not launch no matter what I do.

Anyone experience this? Google isn't turning up much to help me out.

Does Origin Launch okay?

I don't think I've had any Win10 issues, but I'll check BF4 when I get home and report back if things haven't gotten sorted for you.

It runs, but apparently I have to attempt to launch a game about 10 times before it actually takes off.

Did you get an error message?

I was unable to launch BF4 due to MS Visual Studio not being properly moved over during the Win 10 upgrade. Also affected The Witcher 3.

For anyone affected by this issue (which popped up a missing DLL warning), you can read more on my blog.

Same here. Did an in-place upgrade & no problems playing BF4(or any games installed for that matter).
Runs just fine.

So far Windows 10 has downloaded itself on every machine in my house except my gaming machine. Ive yet to install it on anything yet though, still a little suspicious of anything "free" from M$. LOL
