That all sounds great except the less "floaty" movement improvements. Im not exactly sure what they mean by that because I dont feel that way at all in BF3, it moves and feels great to me. I sure hope they dont go back to BC2's "stuck in mud" feel. If I cant strafe run.... BF4's movements look fluid enough in the videos, I guess Ill have to wait for the beta and see how it is for myself.
Does this mean I am in the CoD crowd? D:
The tiered reload means you get exactly to the point of realoading you were at before you switched guns? Call me weird, but I don't like it. I know this is not reality simulator, but ahem, this seems pretty stupid.
I refer you to my previous posts.
Step 1: Read them again.
Step 2: Repeat step 1.
Truth. No one can do it. Its garbage.
What DICE has done is amazing overall...I remember going back to BF2 not long after BC2 came out, and shooting a hut with a tank. Nothing happened. I was so underwhelmed after getting used to the destruction in BC2, I couldn't go back. There were a lot of issues in BC2, but they did so much more right with it in terms of progression that I couldn't go back. Same with BF3...the gun play was so much tighter, the maps bigger and better, and the vehicles so much better than BC2. Unfortunately, they still haven't gotten back to BF2 levels.I just can't get over how much atmosphere the weather effects on the paracel gameplay video's adds. I had no idea my multiplayer games were missing that kind of ambience. Pretty cool stuff they are doing.
Completely horrible for competitive gaming, but I'm old enough to be over competition in gaming. Just don't have the time I did in college to devote to it.

Games=fun
competitive gaming= real life war.
BF4 might be fun
No one can sprint forever without stopping. No one can reload while vaulting a wall. No one can survive a full on blast in the face from an RPG, M320, mobile AA gun, or half a dozen rounds from a tank mounted 50 cal. Neither can they jump from a jet, then hit E at just the right moment and enter a helo....
Sooo, whats your point?
It would be great if game would allow you to try to do it.. (same for backward running, jumping.)Truth. No one can do it. Its garbage.
That's nice.
can climb/vault some obstacles and reload, I do it all the time on Noshar, it looks really funny when you are jumping over something with both hands on your weapon while your butt and both legs are in mid air.you cant reload and vault....it stops the reload
forever? eh
long times? yeah.....marathon what?
no one can survive any of that in hardcore....which you play
How is that any different than walking sideways, backwards, or even forwards while aiming down the sights? It would be great if game would allow you to try to do it.. (same for backward running, jumping.)
But it would cause one to fall down on rubble, stairs etc.
BTW, Whats your beef with it? It sure helps us run and gunners, without it Id just camp more.
LOLmakes it harder for me to HS guys sprinting if they can strafe dodge while running :ninja:
LOL
Okay, but you gotta remember that it works for you too!!
