Considering the TTK in BF3 is already around CoD level, I find this hard to believe.

Blame your aim over the game.

When you get 6 or 7 ticks from an SMG into someone, they have far too much health. The health in BF3, like the rent, is too damn high! Aim has nothing to do with people absorbing bullets. "Oh, you're 3 feet away from me and you put 3 shotgun shells into my chest? Guess you haven't heard I'm John Rambo!"

Hardcore is much more fun. Plus, you get to prey on all the kiddies who haven't learned to function without a big GPS pointing out where everyone and everything is.

BF3's TTK is still quite a bit higher than CoD on both normal and HC, comparatively.

PS- My aim is fine. I still get plenty of kills and high KDRs on normal, its just ridiculous at the amount of bullets it takes to do so.

I tried playing hardcore once. It was frustrating, because all I knew was I was running around with no way of telling what/how/where... anything, actually! After killing couple teammates and being yelled at, I left and never came back, and have since been enjoying my Simple Simon normal easymode

HC servers have the option to use a mini map or not, some have it some dont. With a mini map objectives are shown and unsuppressed fire will light up orange triangles on the map for a second but there is no spotting. Regardless of map or not, there are no bullet/health counters or magical crosshairs.

The map is useful on large maps or low population servers, but if Im playing TDM I really dont notice the map even if its there.

Nah the ttk on vanilla is high man. My overall accuracy is around 20 even with playing a lot with belt fed lmgs

I wish more servers turned the minimap off or even could just disable minimap spotting/radar. As much use as I get out of it, I still think even that is a bit too 'good'.

I get all that for sure,i found myself highly frustrated with some of the CQ maps,especially Ziba Tower lol.Heck today i shot 3 shots from a dao with 12g slugs into a sniper about 5 feet away and he kills me with a few shots from a .1911 pistol and hops off registering 100% on his health status and after that another guy this time a engineer took 4 direct shots from a 870mcs about the same distance and the same exact thing,i die and he registers a full on health bar and after that i just closed the game lol.

Can't touch those CQ maps no more where your 3-4 shotgun shots randomly hit and randomly kill but watch out for the guy 100 feet away who snipes using a 870mcs and gets a one shot kill on you ha.

There are so many decent players trying out hacks with their humble bundle codes right now. On metro last night some kid was like level 10, 130 kills -10 deaths. I could tell he had played before under a different name because he knew to stand on the middle of the escalators at the B flag on metro to clip over the railings and kill people.

I was like 70-30 and 20 of my deaths were from him....
