I'm desperate for advice here. The techs at EA were clueless and said it was a Windows error. I tried installing C++ Visual because I think it has something to do with that. Halp!
If you were that desperate, you'd have googled MSVCR100 and found a wealth of information concerning fixing that.
Here you go: http://lmgtfy.com/?q=MSVCR100
Scooterlibby - Perhaps your best bet is uninstall and reinstall the beta.
Which version of Windows are you running?
I can't believe how bad everyone is... whether its me decimating the opposing team going 40-10, a clueless squad, or a clueless squad leader. The game is filled with idiots. I keep screaming at the squad leader to give orders so we can get points but they just sit on top of a building diddling themselves with a sniper rifle.
I need to find some decent people to play with before I lose my mind.
I'm really liking the chain of command. The re-incentived following orders and made giving/following them much more clear. Reminds me of BF2 a bit...sniff.
In any BF, if my squad contains snipers, I join a different squad. They generally are the most worthless players.
Unless those Recon equip SOFLAMs and I'm an Engineer. Then destruction shall rain from the heavens.
Unfortunately, seems like most Recon lately don't have a clue. I spend half the game yelling at them to paint targets for me, but then I see them just laying on a rock a few hundred yards away from the action.
If no one takes them out, does the building remain standing the entire game?I'm pretty sure that stuff is already up there.
It's the 4 large pillars facing the bay, they're very conspicuous.
2 hits from a RPG will take each out.
If no one takes them out, does the building remain standing the entire game?
If so i wish people would leave it ALONE!!!! The whole concept is kinda ridiculous. Why just one particular building??? UGH
That reminds me - can someone explain the scopes/binoculars that support and recon carry, what they're used for, and how they differ?
Yeah, except I can't spot people without accidentally selecting the flag as an attack point. Every time I spot someone, or try to, I inadvertently give a new attack or defend order.
This. I assume they are like SOFLAM but I wanted to verify.
And whats with RPG locking on to begin with? Aren't they "dumb" weapons? At least in BF3 the Javelin + SOFLAM made some sense in that Javelins are actually "smart" weapons to begin with.
