I think Shanghai will be one of the maps I never play once the game is out and not because of it being the only beta map, just don't like it much.
Yeah same here.

Im looking forward to some wide open battlefields, but this map isnt horrible, it flows pretty good. A bazillion times better than Metro!I think Shanghai will be one of the maps I never play once the game is out and not because of it being the only beta map, just don't like it much.

There are no parts in your sig.
weird, I edited it to include the parts, hit save and viewed it on my machine, only to come to my laptop and see it as if it was not modified.
any who, parts are in the thread, thanks for looking
Mobo, CPU & RAM. The 560 should still have enough juice, but the game won't look spectacular. Don't get the K series unless you get a Z67 motherboard. I'd rather spend the money on an i5-2500, H or P67 and 8-16GB of RAM vs. a 2500k and Z series.
I dunno, it will probably be like Metro. Fastest way to unlock stuff, unless they release a more Metro like map.
thanks, looks like 1155 still has some upgrade in it, or is 1150 the way to go if i am looking for 4yrs out of this? just a question as i haven't kept up....
Second DLC package they are literally releasing Metro again
I just looked this up, and the maps they choose are kinda meh, except for Oman. Surprised they didnt put Wake Island in there as well. Although I think I would rather grind on Metro than Shanghai. No rooftop to deal with, although airburst spam might significantly change the gameplay.

The M320 is bad enough on HC. I guess if I cant beat em' ill just join em'.Man I haven't even considered that. Airburst is going to be the spamming noobs weapon of choice for tight quarters maps like that. Enjoy TDM players
The patch 2 days ago was the patch mentioned to fix performance issues mostly in windows 8 right? The below linked article sorta suggests it was.....
http://www.pcgameshardware.de/Battl...als/Battlefield-4-CPU-Test-Windows-8-1091767/
Thought the so called performance patch wasn't released yet?Found the above linked benchmark article in the BF4 cpu usage thread.
off topic but is your i2500 doing ok w/ your gtx770?
Hard to say, my best performance has been at 1366x768 ultra 4x msa while running windows 8.1 preview and 320.49 drivers but i still saw a occasional dip into the 40s perhaps due to the gamecode as i register no higher then 81% gpu usage in a game session
Couple charts suggest i could do much better with a 3930k or even a highly overclocked i7 quad core but i think for what my chip is i guess i could say its alright.Hell the game itself could run much better when it hits stores for all we know for everyone.
thanks
I like obliteration a lot too. It's the most frustrating game mode ever if you're on a bad team though. If you're trying to do anything with the bomb there are 16 people shooting at it on the opposing team. If you lone wolf it you're toast.
