In Win7 I had occasional crashes initially with my 7970 using the beta driver that was released by AMD on the day that bf4 beta started. After the recent bf4 patch, I haven't crashed once. It's been surprisingly stable and I don't think twice about Alt-Tabbing in between games (or during sometimes) to access my second monitor. I even watched game 6 of the series while playing and had no problems. At this point I don't want to tamper with anything even though there's a newer beta driver available.

I've yet to have the game crash or anything weird. The only thing i've seen is servers bug out on me a few times, just kicks me back to battlelog.

I had 2 crashes in the 2 hours I played last night. The sound starts looping then the whole thing freezes.

A quick heads up, if you're looking to unlock guns and attachments etc fast, then jump on TDM. No worrying about objectives and vehicles, just straight up instant action. I unlocked the M416 in about 45mins this way..

Well after I updated my drivers and Punkbusters I had no issues so far, loading times are fine to me also (ssd), for those pop of friends showing up just disable the Origin Overlay in the Origin properties. Really have loads of fun, still getting use to the sniper, the bullet drop has change considerably.

Do you guys mostly or only get crashes on 64 player servers? I've had much better luck on smaller servers.

Although no matter the size, usually half the server drops off when the bulding comes down in shanghai

Played with a couple guys from AT last night on a decent hardcore server. Ended up doing very well, but lost anyway. =( 34-15 or something, and I'm fairly certain, at least 12 of those deaths were from snipers.

Got into the next game and died once. I got some error with "No spawn points found". Ended up just quitting and calling it a night.

Against better judgement I took the plunge and am putting up with Origin's crap and am now downloading the game.

I keep chasing that high from Battlefield 1942 even though I am certain it will never be like that again

Origin's crap? I don't think you've ever used Origin if you think it has crap. I have had zero problems and haven't heard of any problems concerning Origin. They even did the install anywhere before Steam. Surprisingly, it is an incredibly good DD client.

Does your Origin client not peg a CPU core randomly at times?
Does your Origin client not frequently lose 'sync' with the 'cloud data'?
Does your Origin client actually remember your login details?

Those are all ongoing problems I have with Origin.

I wouldn't necessarily say Origin is terrible, but it is certainly not good.

Never had any of those problems, though I've never checked the CPU usage. I haven't noticed anything.

The only "issue" I've ever experienced is if I reboot my PC, it will tell me someone is logged into my Origin account and I can log them out and log in myself. I think that has to do with having a PC that restarts rather quickly though (SSDs ftw!).

The CPU usage is very noticeable on my dual core. It has gotten better as of late, but I also haven't clocked many hours playing games in the recent few months.

It seems that my login issue is related to logging into Battlelog and then launching the game w/o first starting Origin. If I do that, then the next time I try to start Origin directly I have to re-enter my credentials.

Was getting owned a little last night, but had one really good game where I went 25 to 5 and then the server crashed! All those points lost. Hope they iron the problems out soon. Also, my friend is playing the game fine with two 5870's. I was surprised.

I absolutely love how they allowed MAV's to destroy mortars. So many players last night were complaining in chat why their mortars were getting destroyed right when they deploy.

I've read conflicting information about the M16 versions in the game. Can anyone confirm if the M16A3 / full-auto-M16 is in the game?

Thanks!

Haven't seen the MAVs yet. Are they the same?

Don't forget Origin pushing ads on games you already own.

Yeah, I'm not running a dual core. >_>

I also leave Origin up all the time, same with Steam.

Origin has less popups for ads than Steam. But, it wasn't made by Lord Gaben, so it is evil I suppose.

Same model as BF3, however it doesn't seem like they can do the tugs spotting as in BF3. So you need to be controlling the MAV to have the active mini map spotting. Spotting is a lot easier and the recon spotting perks are amazing with it. Skype chat with 2 full squads and a full time MAV = domination on rush.

Also, beware that recon also gets claymores at the last level unlock.

Played a little with the M4 last night, and I like it! The burst fire kinda took me by surprise, but its fairly easy to tap tap tap and maintain good accuracy. Auto fire would be better for rushing, but its usable.

The server never crashes unless you are doing great, I think its a designed feature to keep your KDR low.

Oh goody, now I can fortify my camping hole against those pesky backstabbing full auto shooting noobs.

Finally got the straight pull bolt for my M40 today. It makes a world of difference when playing on normal servers to get that follow up shot. I sure hope they get the server browser fixed soon so I can find some good HC servers to really get my snipe on.
