Plus I like to see how many times Ive killed or been killed by the culprit.
I also miss that as well. Especially if they've made to nemesis status..

Get out of here you EA shill.
I care. I'd like to know how much damage I inflicted on somebody before they died and what type of weapon they had along with the attachments. Maybe they're using a better configuration of a weapon I like.
This is driving me insane!! I hate not knowing how I died and by who.
I like to know who's tags I'm going to go collectWho cares who killed you. Why does it matter ?
It looks like dice was making some headways to get the game fixed but this latest patch has destroyed it.
Very dissapointed.
1. Depends on how close and from what angle the blast comes from. A grenade on the ground next to you will do less damage if you prone, but in an airburst attack it will make no difference.I have a few of questions please.
1. If I crouch or lay prone do I take less damage from explosives?
2. What's the purpose of the laser site if the bullets do not go where the laser is pointed when hip firing? Is this a bug or intentional?
3. Do non-premium players eventually get the weapons that come with the dlc maps?
4. On a youtube video I heard someone say something about a level 100 player getting a damage multiplier. What does this mean specifically?
1. Correct, the explosives have fragments, nades blow up \|/ so lying down helps. Airburst explodes down /|\ so jumping might actually help!1. 2. A lot depends on how much you are moving, they are not pinpoint accurate but your bullets go pretty much where that laser is pointed.
3. No. Not unless they eventually purchase Premium.
4. There is no damage multiplier for anyone regardless of level or Premium status.....unless they are hacking. LOL
The last client patch screwed up some stuff but the latest server side patch that came out 1 week later fixed all those issues but one for me. That one issue is the no killer info screen on hardcore servers. Now that I've got the rig to run this on PC, is it worth getting? Sounds like it's currently borked to hell and back based on the last several pages.
Out of curiosity I went to the test range and I see exactly what you are talking about. Looking closely you will notice that the laser is not in line with your "imaginary" cross hairs. When ADS the laser pulls right into line with your optic but if standing still and hip firing the bullets will hit off to the right of the laser but in line your imaginary crosshairs. However if you move and shoot you wont really notice this difference simply because of the much wider bullet spread. I guess I never really noticed this before because I mainly play hardcore where there are no crosshairs, plus I'm rarely still as I prefer to run and gun. Thanks for your answers DeadFred and Phoenix86.
The explosives thing has been bothering me for a while. I'll be in a group of people and I'll be the only one to drop dead when a grenade or lvg is incoming.
When hip firing at the test range the laser is pointed at least 1 foot to the left of where my bullets hit. They hit pretty much where I put a small piece of tape on my monitor when ADS.

So would you say it is a bug? Since noticing this I always turn off my laser as soon as I spawn. I'm ready to remove the lasers from all my guns because they only give away my position. The only reason to use a laser is to blind someone as you ADS.Out of curiosity I went to the test range and I see exactly what you are talking about. Good thought but all my kits currently have the defensive perk unless it is bugged. Maybe I'm just lucky lol.Maybe they had the defensive field upgrade attached to their kit?
Dice invited some popular youtubers to play the Naval Strike dlc early if you want to take a look. All vids were uploaded today. If the new carrier mode captures the fun of the Titan mode from 2142, I don't think I'll ever switch styles.

Sort of... When the shield goes down (carrier is breached) there are two rush like objectives BUT you don't need to touch them to win. You can continue winning the conquest points and they will continue to shell the carrier, it'll blow up w/o arming the mcoms eventually.Titan mode isn't that different from CQ. You cap and hold flags but instead of draining tickets you're draining shields. Once the shields go down then it's more like rush.

Also, the other team can catch up on the conquest side, breach your carrier, then it's like dual rush. Looks interesting!
I like the way the maps look so far, but I have only seen a couple videos.I can't wait for this. This was the only mode I played in 2142, and will probably end up being the only mode I play for bf4 from here on out unless the maps just totally suck.
