The laser very well could be zeroed in at 50 meters. I never really thought about it. It doesn't help me when hip firing up close though so I may just remove them from 1/2 of my guns as an experiment. It does seem to be a bit too far off, IMO. In real life the closer you can mount a laser to the bore of your barrel the more accurate it should be. In any case the laser would only be pinpoint accurate at one particular point, since it will always be going in a dead straight line while bullets drop over distance. That point would be determined by sighting it in a a particular distance, most likely around 50 meters. I nearly always use a laser preferably the green one, (I can see it best) just for the additional hip fire accuracy bonus. Like I said earlier I have not had any issues hitting people using only the laser but I normally ADS unless I just run into someone unexpectedly, and then its pretty much point blank range.
Come to think of it, I remember noticing a while back when using the M16 that the laser seemed cocked way off to the side when just running around because it looked like they had it mounted to the handguard, but I didnt have any trouble hip firing and hitting people while using it.
Yes it does, there's a hip fire aim bonus from the laser and you CAN use just the laser in CQB. I find the more I pay attention to the laser instead of the cross (per Vulgar's recommendation maybe a week or more ago) I'm FAR more accurate. The laser very well could be zeroed in at 50 meters. I never really thought about it. It doesn't help me when hip firing up close though so I may just remove them from 1/2 of my guns as an experiment.
What's the release date for Naval Strike? any word?
Heard it was Tuesday.
3/25 for Premium. Not sure what the release date is for the regulars...
After playing on a server that rotated between the two, Ive come to realize that I despise Operation Locker more than Metro. LOL
Ya same
Edit: I do like them both on > 32 player servers
I'm hoping you mean < 32...
Though maybe you don't and to each their own.

No Naval Strike for you!
"Starting tomorrow, Battlefield 4 Premium members on consoles will be able to experience the ultimate sea-to-sea warfare. The third expansion pack for Battlefield 4, Naval Strike takes the intense and dramatic water-based combat introduced in Battlefield 4 to four all-new maps set in the South China Sea while introducing a new game mode and vehicle.
However, we are delaying the launch of Battlefield 4 Naval Strike on PC. Weve detected an issue and it needs to be solved. Quality is our number one priority and we will not release Battlefield 4 Naval Strike on PC until we feel it meets the highest quality level possible. We are also working on a larger update to release alongside Battlefield 4 Naval Strike on PC that will address the issue of Tablet Commander not working correctly. Once we have a confirmed date for PC, well be sure to update those players on our official channels. We appreciate your patience and look forward to seeing everyone on the Battlefield."
