The reqs aren't too bad. Annoying? Yes.

The Phantom Operative assignment is going to be a pain in the butt. 200 kills with the Phantom Bow and 50 headshots? Awful...

Just my opinion....

Ive heard people are spending hours trying to find those final stand map dog tags, and that's in no kill servers dedicated to hunting them. I thought bow was useless in BF3, so why should I go to all that trouble for it now?

I just dont understand all this Phantom unlock hoopla with people spending all their time trying to solve cryptic riddles, if it were left up to me none of that stuff would ever be unlocked. I guess it's for the Hardy Boys wannabes.

People get bored with the game and need something else to keep it going. When the game came out, I didn't really care about the assignments, I just wanted to play. But after a few weeks, I started aiming for assignments that would give weapons or equipment.

Never finished any Phantom Assignments. Picked up the bow from a kill/drop. Pretty gay. Pass.

The tags part is just asinine. First up, the tags spawn in a random location based on a RNG. So good luck even checking everywhere for them. Second is that they don't spawn until 5-10 minutes into a round so you can't just run and check before things get capped. They're destructible, so they can accidently be destroyed. If they're picked up or destroyed they take another 10 minutes to spawn in a random place. Seriously, wtf?

I spent a couple hours looking for the f'ing tags this weekend. No luck. Its not something you'll just do eventually with enough playtime like the other assignments. You have to spot a very small, color blending box, then knife it open to be able to interact with the tags.

Exactly. My son spent an hour or more on one of those no kill servers and if anyone found a tag they never mentioned it, they had a least one and most of the time two people at every known tag spawn point. One guy there said he had spent 17 hours looking and had found only one. I looked in two spots saw nothing and left, Id rather be shooting at someone. LOL

So premium is $30 this weekend. Is it worth it so late in the cycle to pick this up? I just have vanilla bf4 and china rising expansion. Are the new maps good?

Yeah i watched the Jack Frags video on that,wow it sounds incredible dumb and basically a waste of time.Would be incredibly funny if the bow is nerfed to where it's as useless as it is in BF3.

I jumped on the Reddit Hanger 21 map that is tags only/no killing and well theres just people running around like chickens with their heads cut off.No bs here but one guy said if someone would hold him a tag he would paypal them $30.

Luckily i am so old school in my shooters i simply don't bother with assignments,i think they're stupid and a waste of time and they pretty much only came about in BF3/bf4 to cater to the COD kiddies who want to bust their ass for a Op/craptastic weapon that will be most likely nerfed later anyways like the Deagle did.

The last DLC just came out so the game will be busy for the next 4-8 weeks. After that it'll slow down quite a bit but you'll still be able to find games.

I'm betting on a season 2 of DLC based on a whole lot of hints they have been dropping. Nothing official yet, but too much out there not to have another couple DLC out.

Yea, I heard the phantom assignments would need one more DLC at least to complete. Not sure if whose DLCs would be covered under Premium though.

Awesome game,idk if the origin sale is still going on but the entire experience was $30 if it isn't still.

God please bring us some Canals TDM,i would uninstall BF3 and play BF4 full time if Canals came to BF4.Canals and CQ dlc is the only reason i still have BF3 installed on my rig.

We can hope! TDM on Noshahr Canals was my favorite game on BF3, loved running around with the G3A3 on there. Man, I miss my G3A3. :'(

Love the P90 on the CQ dlc and Canals,its my go to weapon in BF3. Used to be huge with the M16A3 but a buddy of mine was using a P90 in another fps called Combat Arms and i tried it out in BF3 and was hooked instantly.

Sad thinking you need to play what i think is a horrible campaign in BF4 to unlock the P90 then its a engineer weapon and i have always been more of a assault/support player going back right to BF2.
