Next expansion, you mean to BF4 or are you implying Hardline? There's at least 1 more BF4 expansion, as well as the upcoming changes that are on the test server, primarily night mode.
As for the guy who mentioned cheating - it's not very rampant. I've been playing since released and only have dealt with 2 cheaters.
I mean hardline, not the map packs. Is it in open beta? Once that happens I expect most of the population to start moving there.
BF4 still has additional content coming this year doesn't it? Possibly new maps.

"Closer" to the next BF is going to be Star Wars Battlefront, but there are plenty of folks not interested in that franchise, too. So I am guessing it might be a while before a new proper Battlefield 5. Maybe holiday 2016. Maybe.
If you like BF3 then you should absolutely grab BF4+premium for that price. The play style is exactly the same as BF3, nothing CoD about it. This! :thumbsup:I doubt this is going to happen. Having played Hardline, I can tell you that it's not the same experience. It's amusing, but doesn't have nearly the depth of BF4, if for no other reason than the extremely limited vehicle combat. It really isn't a Battlefield game.
Servers I have been on the last few days have been lag spike central.. are they breaking the game to push people to Hardline?
Ive been playing daily and havent had any issues....other than getting stuck on the crappiest teams possible. My overview shows that I am 5-10 in my last 15 games. Lost by 3 tickets on a 1200 ticket server yesterday, it was a good a game but dang it those close ones sting. On an unrelated note, I experienced a wacky bug today. Loaded up a game of Dawnbreaker, only to find my system crawling once the team deployed. Thought it was the server, but nobody complained. Turns out that the game had somehow absorbed all 16GB of RAM and forced the system to the swap file. I was getting like 10fps. This was on a 780 Ti.
Quit the map, loaded a different one, and all was fine. Is that what you'd call a memory leak or what?
Weird,i never had issues like that,even during beta.Never experienced performance issues due to leaks myself in any game yet,been lucky i guess.
I wonder if your issue is Ultra settings related?I just started to use Ultra 24/7 when i got the 970,my experience has been limited so far but i could certainly let you know if i experience your issue.I got 8gb of ram though.
Anyone experiencing freezing up randomly. Goes for about 10 secs then back to normal.
I miss BC2. For some reason I really played that game. BF3 and BF4 all I do is snipe because that's all I can stand to do. I mean I like sniping, but BC2 I really got in deep and played a lot of rush and loved the Vietnam expansion. I don't get excited about playing objectives in BF4 like I did with BC2. I stick to TDM now. Everything else makes me want to puke.
