Hey guys
I just upgraded my digital deluxe edition (works perfect, includes CR) to full premium, via an online key from G2A. Key was accepted and waited 40 minutes for download. All downloaded ok, but I thought it odd they didn't show up in the origin "my games" screen. Went to play and says I need to buy expansion packs ?!
Any ideas?

I don't have extra entries for the premium stuff. Sure you didn't get sold a key for the base game? Either way make you you close Origin complete and start it up again. Sometimes stuff doesn't show up right without a restart.

Join a squad with guys wearing clan tags. Follow them around and throw down medic bags/ammo when needed. You'll do a lot better than wandering on your own.

Wow, I don't remember making this post. Maybe I was drunk. Quite ranty, I apologise. That said I still can't get into the BF4 maps with all of the vertical structure. The upgrade progression is meaningless because you don't have clear goals to work for. The guns all feel the same to me too. And I suck.

Yup, how I started... As an old-bastard, I'm a 'mediocre/average' player on a good day, and below average on a typical day...as infantry or support...

But, for the last 8-12 months, I play a lot on 'Golmud' map as 'Engineer' class usually, like flying in small chopper as Eng/repair and w/ Stinger to shoot down other CH's... I have found 3/5 great pilots and with us together we are dang quite awesome, IMHO... (a legend in my own mind).

I love BF4, the best 'FPS' out there, again, imo, and I've been playing FPS's since 1993.

With CQ in BF3 pretty much gone with the Hostile server shut down,i have returned to BF4.

Had reasons like my new IPS monitor and to see where my 970 lands for 1080p,performance is solid for Ultra all around without MSAA.Latest drivers and the game seem solid enough atm.

Exciting and i would bet $5 that the unannounced map from a former BF game making it into the game this summer is going to be Canals from BF3.you check your filters for TDM in BF3 and that is all you get with people playing it.It needs a return to BF4.

Gun Master is going to be great returning to BF4.

I can't wait for the night maps. The lighting of the Frostbite engine looks amazing. I just hope they increase the brightness of vehicles from a driver's position. If you look at the videos, the headlights look insanely bright when your outside of the vehicle but really dim as a driver.

Attempt option D many many times, crash or die in the process; cry, cry a lot.

Then go play TDM and feel better no aircraft is in that.

I hope Canals makes a come back, that was my favorite BF3 TDM map. None of BF4 maps are all that great for TDM so I rarely play that mode anymore. Canals has the perfect setup to do just about anything you could ever want in a TDM match, minus vehicles of course. I may run and gun one round, camp and snipe the next, and all variety of weapons and explosives and tactics can be extremely effective on that map!

As for Gunmaster, I could go the rest of my life without ever playing that annoying game again.

Hoping the new assault rifle is the G3A3 from BF3. However, doing a total weapons balance overhaul over 19 months after release is brilliant, just freaking brilliant! And to up the stupidity from there, they are adding 2 hit head shot kills. WTF! Hopefully this ignorance only applies to normal servers and not hardcore or I just may hang up my BF4 hat for good.

I love BF4, the best 'FPS' out there, again, imo, and I've been playing FPS's since 1993

My history with BF goes back to 1942, but I sort of lost interest after BF3. I recently grabbed the 5-day free version of BF4, and certain aspects of it are a lot of fun. Certainly better than any other large-scale multiplayer shooter that's out there now, as far as I know. I can compare it with Tribes, PS2, and COD at least. One thing that drives me nuts is that fracking horrible browser-based launcher. Is there a solution for people who don't use IE as their default? Chrome won't load the activex control (thankfully) so I have to paste the url into IE every time I want to play. I'd really love to just have a native server browser/updater/launcher/settings manager.

Well they've changed it up a bit, now they give you decent weapons up front with most of the pistols near the end so it's a little easier to catch up. I somehow won the first match I joined, now I can rest easy.

Even though they claim to have fixed the footsteps audio, it sounds more screwed up than ever.

The sound in this game can be so bad it's laughable. I had a chopper land behind me last night and the pilot hopped out and shot me from behind and I never heard the chopper. I was riding in another chopper a little later and the guy beside me was firing the chain gun and there was no audio associated with it at all.
