Grenade spam in BC2 is a total non-issue.

40mm tube spam is a huge issue, especially with the ability for an assault unit to have effectively an infinite number of them.

Well I guess it's always a question of what you use/play style but to me magnum ammo with the m16 seems to be the best loadout by far.

M16 vs AN94 vs M416 is completely situation dependent / personal preference. I always prefer the M16 to the AN94, but sometimes the M416 serves me better in closer quarters maps. Magnum ammo all the way though! Noob tube spammers are just that - noobs. I'll outplay them every time with M16/Mag.

i think it was a mistake to give assault ammo boxes. now all you need to do is plop down a ammo box and you can launch unlimited noob tube rounds into the area of enemy activity and get incredible amounts of kills. with explosive damage perk and additional explosives, the noob tube is too overpowered. find another assault or two to camp with and you guys will never even have to wait to resupply with 2 or more ammo boxes. i think engineer should've been given the ammo kit instead.

Well the M60 is only good in very short bursts. If you're close to someone and let loose with it, you'll almost always miss them.

I can't even count the number of times I've been dead, a vehicle full of people has driven over my mine, the white text comes on screen indicating that I netted 500+ points and no points are added to my score. I've also taken down several helicopters with an RPG and been awarded no points and several times I have hit a tank with 2 RPGs, someone else makes the final killing blow and I get no assist points.

It's happened to me before as well, but only in situations where I'm blowing up vehicles. I'll take it down like 90% of the way and get 0 points, and someone else will get the killing blow. I've also had it happen where I'll blow up a vehicle and the guys inside die, but I only get points for blowing up the vehicle. It has swung in my favor before though, where I'll hit a vehicle that has like 10% life left, and I'll get a double kill and vehicle destruction points AND points for vehicle damage.

agreed. this is right behind 90% of the people playing snipers.

Well the M60 is only good in very short bursts. If you're close to someone and let loose with it, you'll almost always miss them.

are you kidding me? M60 pwns full auto at close combat. i have so many close quarters kill just full blasting from the hip as well. the aim seems to get tighter the longer you hold down the trigger. put down a health pack next to you, and just shoot away at enemies and you will win most of the 1v1 battles.

right now my medic kit with m60, red dot, magnum ammo is kicking some serious ass. for pure points and kills, i don't think anything beats this kit.

the most fun i have had though was as an engineer spamming carl gustav. that weapon is seriously a blast to use. its so accurate that i can snipe out snipers from far away. if i see a red arrow, i'm shooting my gustav at em no matter what the distance is. it rocks in close quarters too, as long as you watch the distance and blast so you don't kill yourself. perk it up with explosive damage and extra explosives perks and gustav is a noob tube that you start out with 7 extra rounds! got my 50 double pin kills in less than one day with the gustav, lol.

I haven't ran into a lot of noob tubers. The first few days when the game just came out, I did, but after that, not so much.

The patch didn't do much... and I honestly didn't expect much this close to release. A fixed server browser and some of the other general issues will take a little be longer to be implemented (assuming they will fix the browser).

are you still upset mw2 was a colossal failure? 50% of the games are filled with hackers, no dedicated servers with pings allowing your opponent to see you a full second or two before you or vice versa.

lazy / shitty maps, no vehicles, and now a recycled map pack for $15. modern warfail. never touching another cod game.

see this huge bc2 thread? most people are raving about the great gameplay. only complaints are about downtime, server browser, and consistently dying to snipers (you're the only having this issue. learn 2 dodge noob).

Starting today, March 16th, until 19th April Battlefield Heroes is turning all Battlefield Bad Company 2 with new content and a website reskin. The Battlefield Bad Company 2 tribute consists of:

* Exclusive Battlefield Bad Company 2 tribute weapons and outfits
* New health boost item (Sarge’s Stamina Boost)
* Website reskin

The new items are premium content in Heroes so will cost Battlefunds, however if you have your VIP code assigned to your EA account you will get 700 Battlefunds (worth $5) when you log in to www.battlefieldheroes.com when using the same login as you use on www.battlefieldbadcompany2.com. All Battlefield Bad Company 2 PC players are eligible for the 700 Battlefunds without needing the VIP code that console Bad Company 2 has.

I challenge you to find a single post where I even mention IW and Dice in the same post. Or a single post where I compliment Dice as the best company ever (should be interesting considering BC2 is the first Dice game I've played since BF1942 and I'm rather unimpressed with the package as a whole).

I have read that you don't get points while dead.

So why would anyone choose to use mines instead of rockets? Mines can be extremely effective and a mine kill typically nets over 500 points due to destroying a vehicle, multiple passengers, double kill bonuses, etc. Problem is there's a fairly good chance of your mine being hit while you're dead, and missing out on such a bounty of kill is a huge pain in the ass.

How many hours have people put in this game to unlock everything within a month of it being released? I have about 1- to 15 hours a week of game time at best...it seems like every homer and their sister is level 25 or greater!
