I've only been playing a few hours, I believe I'm level 10 or 11, and I experienced this as well. I noticed as I was waiting to respawn, there are tips that display on the screen. One of the tips said that SMGs have a low-chance of hitting while moving, which I do think is true from what I've experienced while shooting with an SMG while moving. So what I tested was to crouch first then shoot and, lo and behold, I would hit AND kill my targets much better then while I was running and gunning. I've only tried this with the Uzi and haven't tried it with the other SMGs prior to the Uzi, so I'll have try it with the other SMGs to see if it holds true.

There are unlocked specializations for each class that increase your accuracy with that classes weapons. For example, medics get the increased LMG accuracy spec (it's one of the last unlocks). I haven't got any of them yet, but I'm guessing they make a big difference since pretty much all high level players use them.

Maybe it's just me, but I just unlocked the MMN for LMG and I can't tell a difference at all. Oh well. It's getting replaced by Magnum Ammo anyway when I get it.

Is this just part of the risk you have to accept because you get such a "forward spawn" and almost immediate reinforcement, such as when you're on offense? So far, it's been pretty frustrating, even though I probably get myself killed way more often than say, just dying (due to aoe) because I spawned right there, if you know what I mean.

Good idea - except when the server settings are such that this is turned off. Not sure which setting it is, probably kill-cam?

Also, there seems to be some hidden criteria that decides whether or not you CAN spawn on your teammates (other than when they're in a full vehicle). Last night the rest of my squad was all alive, all visible as moving green pips on the respawn-timer minimap, yet each of them was grayed out, I was forced to spawn in the main area. One guy said it was "because we were too far forward", which was annoying and made zero sense because we were the defenders and we were behind the objectives. Anyone know why this happens? Maybe it's a bug? Wasn't there a similar bug (can't spawn on SL) in BF2142 at some point?

i hate that, when you can't spawn on your squad member and it auto spawns you at the starting point. then there's no vehicles and you have to walk for 2 minutes, then you get gustav'd.

if you select a squad mate and hit spawn and they died right when you clicked spawn or jumped in a full vehicle by default it places you at the starting spawn

I got into a game with what seemed like good teammates, and one of which who actually used the mic (I think the first time I've heard someone use it in a squad), and I get dropped from the game due to some network connection error and now can't seem to join any game because they're all "full". I've played the Battlefield series since 1942 came out, but jesus christ, they need to clean house on their "programmers".

I got pissed and fired up Modern Warfare 2 instead, and quit it about 5 minutes later. Bad Company 2 is heads and shoulders above that game, at least for me (when it works).

EDIT: By the way, is there a time when the ATOT BC2 server is up? Whenever I search for "[atot]" or "atot" I do not get any results.

i'm not sure what retards programmed this game but the ending not showing the score tab, and giving about 3 people to say 'gg' then changing maps is retarded. 'YOUR TEAM WON'.

fun game but so many things that seriously make me go what the fuck were the devs thinking..
