If the overhead picture is to believed, all three cap-able bases on Arica Harbor are mashed in to the town section. What a clusterf*ck.

xfire in game works you need to edit the ini

I've been trying to use xfire in a lot of games for a friend wants to see me playing, and I noticed xfire is completely 100% inept at adding game profiles to their ini file.

They're all setup for 32 bit operating system registry, for example most of the keys need to be edited to point to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node if you're using a 64bit os.

usually just searching for last part what they have in the INI then correcting the path will fix the problems

I think you can play the single player to test it out without registering, and re-sell it if it's no good.

So tonight I had gotten three 5000 point awards and a few 100 point ones but at the end of the round it only gave me 12170 points

Sometimes I get more stars in that final screen then I actually got. Something about dieing shortly after getting one makes it reappear when I respawn. No idea why this is.

I was playing on the [HOOD] server last night, and I noticed a familiar player name, Legolas. I was like, "Hey, that's the guy shown on the Sigg-o-matic home page!". A few minutes later I was killed by [reddit] Elxx, the Sig meister himself. Well, I thanked him for his work, then blew up his APC!

I logged in last night and it had reverted me backwards in points and I lost 2 unlocks. And I thought MW2 was a buggy pile of shit.

Still having fun though... but I imagine I will soon reach a breaking point with this one just like MW2

X-Fire in game does work but you obviously have to modify it. Now wether or not this fix actually edits the INI for you, but with out the hassle of finiding/editing said file, I don't know. If you go into options, then select games tab, let it find all of your installed games, go to BC2 and there should be an option to select which renderer it uses and I think the default is DX10. If you switch that option over to DX9 then start the game up, it should work just fine.

I am at work so I know some of the wording may be a little different in X-Fire itself and the rendering option may be vice versa, this is what solved it for me.

Me too lol. It's hard to unlock because all the previous medic guns suck ass. With assault at least you can get the XM8 early on while you work on getting the good unlocks.

Despite everyone whining about the M60, it's not that much better than the PKM. If you're not proficient with the PKM, the M60 isn't going to help much.

If you're trying to unlock Medic stuff by killing people, You're Doing It Wrong. Heals/revives will advance you faster down the path than killing (might even help your team win and make some friends, too). I've played Medic & Assault almost exactly the same amount of time, and I have ~33% more points in Medic than I do in Assault. Heh, I've played Recon almost as long as those two and only have 50% of my Assault score. Engineer is my step-child but it's a point-getter: less than 25% of the time I've spent as Recon but almost 90% of the points.

'Course, I suck at the whole aim-mouse-clicky-clicky thing & my K/D is below 1.0, but still...

Despite everyone whining about the M60, it's not that much better than the PKM. If you're not proficient with the PKM, the M60 isn't going to help much.

The M60 is loads better than the PKM. The next best gun would have to be the T88, I think its called.

The M60 is loads better than the PKM.

The M60 does 25 damage at an RPM of 550. The PKM does 16.7 damage at an RPM of 650. So the M60 kills in 0.3273 seconds and the PKM kills in 0.4615. That's only 0.15 seconds difference.

Of course this all assumes that each bullet lands, right? The M60 has a higher "spray" factor (0.65 vs. 0.6 and 0.385 vs. 0.33 zoomed) and a higher kick angle (7.0 vs. 6.0) that jerks up "harder" (0.7 vs. 0.525).

But your opinion is your opinion. Mine is mine. Based on these facts and my experience, my opinion is that the net effect of both weapons' attributes makes the M60 slightly better than the PKM.

The next best gun would have to be the T88, I think its called.

The T88 is a distant third, whose only saving grace is less recoil than the PKM. It kills in 0.5538 seconds.
