I just can't wait until I get the red dots. I grabbed a medic's MG36 with Red dot and rapidly got 8 kills, and I rarely get more than one with a gun in a life.

Yea, I instantly got better when I got the RDS for then engineer. Then I got better again when I got the 4x optical shortly after.

LOL not limited to just that server. I've been getting black screen crashes of the game on round end, not sure if you even get all your points when this happens. Do hope so cause it has happened frequently.

Are you running 7 or Vista?

I used to get black screen or white screen freezes until I made BFBC2.exe disable desktop composition. (Aero UI)

(I also looked at your sig, and I too have a GTX 260)

I'm trying to get battlefield veteran and have BF2 and 1942 but I lost my 1942 cd case and all i have is the box, cds, manual and in the manual there is a proof of purchase with bar code, is there any way to get 1942 cdkey from it?

Ugh I tried starting single player but for some reason the FOV settings dont work in there and it gives me a huge headache with the tunnel vision.

Not unless you buy only the cd-key which you might be able to find for cheap on flea-bay. With PC games you're never really buying the game. You only buy the cd-key.

log in to your ea games account and submit a ticket about it

they will fix it up for you

I've heard that it's buggy, and if you keep trying, like six or seven times, that it will eventually accept it. Otherwise, contact EA support and they will take care of it for you right away.

Battlefield Bad Company 2 PC Server Update and EA Maintenance

As you probably noticed, we have experienced an outage across EA servers today, this was caused by a routing issue outside of EA's control but it has been solved and things are back up and running again.

Tomorrow at 8:00 GMT/9:00 CET and 12:00 (midnight) PST the EA servers will be brought down for maintenance. There is no current time for when the servers will return so keep an eye on our Twitter for more up to date information as we get it: http://twitter.com/OfficialBFBC2

On a more positive note, we have released the R6 server to server providers today which should stop the PB INIT FAILURE messages that have been causing problems recently, as well as releasing new server versions, we are still investigating and fixing connectivity and stability problems that are being reported in the forums http://forums.electronicarts.co.uk/battlefield-bad-company-2-pc/.

The outage is at 3:00 AM EST, for the chronologically challenged.

I did the veteran thing and it unlocked the gun, but I can't pick it in game... Other than that all I got was another number next to my rank.
