yea hardest part about that quest is the last 5 man bits (IE findin a group) if you need help on a day im not raiding ill hop back over on skullcrusher on my SP who is still there and help you out

if you actually do all 25 dailys you make close to 300G

i made 340 on friday/sat and sunday doing all 25 and just vendoring the greens from the rewared things

On Fri-Sat-Sun I generally get 17/18 done. (Some like Hellfire pvp and residue depend on luck of being able to complete). Other days I only try for about a dozen so I can still put a decent amount of time into some regular questing.

We got hit by those as well. Caused us to wipe once on Gorefiend. We attempted Bloodboil for the first time last night. We did pretty well. Got him to 40% on one attempt. He really doesn't seem all that complex. It's mostly a matter of getting those heals off on the right people at the right time. There is no room for hesitation or bad judgment calls when it comes to healing that fight.

As usual, I welcome any tips or tricks that you guys might recommend. One thing I am curious about is how the healers in your guilds gear up. Do they choose to wear some PvP gear for stam and resilience or is it best to just stack the healing?

Minor setback!

I thought that bad lag last night was just me for awhile... ping going from 130 to 800+. Then my undead ended up getting disconnected in Westfall... not exactly somewhere I like that to happen . Best part was when I was leaving, I see a gryphon land and I hover over it on my Alliance guy to see that it's a 70 warrior. The warrior goes a running up right to where my rogue... used to be . Just a couple seconds too late .

Oh and Cheat Death pisses me off. Damn rogues thinking they're hot shit because they get the imba easy card that makes it so I can't kill them. I really need to work on my engineering speed though.

when we first learned it we had mostly mages put on PVP gear for stamina and resil, you need 150 resil to not be crit by him during the fel rage, its not a bad idea for priests to do i as well

some guilds have mages respec frost for because more survivabiity

once you get enough T6 type items that have lots of stam you can jst use your normal gear, i dont wear any PVP stuff anymore and our mages stay fire

Ah! I forgot about that. Ok, one last question. Do the druids in your guild choose to apply their HoTs and then start spamming regrowth/swiftmend while in tree form or do they switch to caster form and spam Healing Touch? I chose to use HoTs and Regrowth because I felt that mitigating the damage on me would be more beneficial than spamming a 3.5 second spell which just like most of the other healing class spells. I do not have the talents to make it a 3.0 sec cast. I realize that there are exceptions sometimes though and I was wondering if this is one of them.

Chase them and wait for it to wear off, stun them to make them cloak/vanish, then pop perception and stick a hammer between their shoulder blades as they try to sprint away unseen.

Last night, a prot war and myself as holy were doing dailys and I forgot to unflag... keyboard started acting funny so I went afk standing in the middle of the armory flagged for like 10 mins looking for batteries (forgot I was flagged), came back to a res screen. -_- Warrior said some gimp hunter picked me off at max range, so I put on my pvp gear and went on the hunt.

Of course this hunter isn't quite so gimp, 10k health, 260+ res, and beast spec, is from the top horde guild on the server, and is now accompanied by a warlock, mage, and rogue, all from the same guild, flagged, and in season 3 and looking for a fight. Attempts to get my PvP happy guild mates to leave their arena failed.

So we screwed around pretending to quest unflagged and kept an eye on them. The lock logged out, and the rogue and mage had their hands full with an elite pat so we jumped on the opportunity and cornered the hunter solo. Got the killing blow with a 2k hammer of wrath, bubble hearthed and flew back immediately so as to be unflagged, while the warrior shadow melded.

Successful revenge, and chance of retaliation with overwhelming odds stacked against us denied. Pwnt by a tank and a healer.

In other news, my rogue is finally exalted with SSO today, after running just 2 regular MrTs. That was a lot of dailies. 10k gold and nothing to do with it. Now to do the same thing with my lock. Yay for time-sinks.

im guessing you allready have your epic flyer on your rogue and lock, you could get the flying mount from CE exaulted the hypoglyph or whatever, coudl spend 1K for a "Of the shattered Sun" title

I was almost dead so it didn't help . I made a couple mistakes since I hadn't played for awhile and all of my PVP is in Arena, which means I'm not that used to my engineering (my warrior is my only other engineer and I don't really have any grenades on him). It would've been different if I didn't sit there in a blind with my trinket off cooldown not even realizing that I had it equipped =(. Or if I had used sprint + grenade.

Of course it never helps losing the first attack because they're subtlety (increased stealth and increased stealth detection ).

I'll probably get the title myself since as I also have around 10k G with nothing to spend it on. The title is limited window of opportunity (after that phase finishes, you can only pay 10g daily for rep, no title, and you have to be exalted before the title quest is available). Got all the epic mounts I have space for (hypogryph is lame, missing a lot of animations). I just like the peace of mind knowing that if I had to leave WoW for extended periods, I could still do the bare minimum to show up and raid and log immediately and not have to worry about farming for consumables, repairs, dailys, etc for months.

Keeping a bag full of mana injectors helps with that as well. I consider myself low if one of the injector slots is below 20 Blood elves got nothing on me.

Grrr still pissed about that 40% 25/25 lag spiked Archimonde fight last night (our first full night of attempts).

Ran into the same problems mentioned here before, paladins kept dying because their bubble was on cool down (meaning they ran into fire more than once)... /facepalm

The one and only time I died to fire was when I was literally trapped. Trail left of me, I go right, immediately a new fire blocks the right path while the left one circles around behind me. I move forward to stay in heal range of the tank, and a third fire closes the opening at the front of the first two fires, leaving me boxed in a 5 yard square. So all is good, I'm still not in the fire, and I'm in range of the tank.

Guess where the next fire went -_-;

That time my bubble was down because I got an air burst, and hit some bounding volume at the edge of the cliff while mid air that caused my camera to flip out and lose perspective and I wasn't taking any chances cratering.

Another attempt I had two fires parallel to me to my left and right that I was trying to outrun, then doubled back between them when they both made 90 deg turns and started to cross in front of me. A scene straight out of Hollywood. That fire has a mind of its own.

I had to kill myself on purpose on a wipe call for all but one of the attempts last night, and just about every time my bubble and trinket were both up.

Whatever you do with your HoTs, keep spamming direct heals also...

I tanked H Ramps this weekend trying to get more 11 heal/4 crit gems... I died with no heals to Nazan like 3 times... I had received nothing but lifebloom ticks for the whole fight -_-

Nah we verified that last night. Even with people running radially outward, the fire can suddenly change direction and acquire a different target or double back on it's own at random.

Best thing is to just get far far away from any fire entirely, like 20 yards, not just stand next to it because you're safe because it's not coming for YOU...

My only encounter with fire was like 3 fires back to back in the same area. First one went after one person next to me who ran away in a straight line, I moved perpendicularly away from it in an arc around the tank, and the instant I flicked my mouse and lifted my first foot off the ground, the second fire cut me off, then the third when I tried to move forward and out from between the two.

But that was just a random anomaly, not a typical occurrence, just like getting 5 forked lightning back to back on one side. Meh. Even so, it was already a wipe before that happened and we were just practicing staying alive
