id say it will be at least a month before the if not 2 before the patch. they have to get the rest of the sunwell tested and that wont happen till peopeldo all those dailys to grind the rep to open them up, and the are changeing WSG and AV a bit and will have to test those and such

Yeah, they said S2 gear will take the place of S1 as the honor gear when S4 comes out.

Also, there's a nice 20 slot BoP bag that drops (off trash iirc) in SW5.

1. How do you tell the difference between S1,S2...etc gear?

I can wait until 60 for the mount, I will get a freeby horse at 40 for being a Paly. That should do fine for our group anyway.

Someone in game told me not to buy any lvl 60 PvP gear and to wait for the 70 gear. Do you agree?


On a side note, anyone know a good location to find Goldthorn? I have been in Ariatha highlands mostly.

so will the S1 stuff be taken out of the game, drastically decreased price, or will the S2 cost significantly more? I'm working on getting 2 swords for my rogue (to switch off of daggers) and was going to try for the spite blade and the S1 offhand. If the S2 offhand will be the same price, then I don't mind staying daggers till the patch hits.

Why would you waste the special cloth on those anyway . I won't make primal mooncloth bags or hell... even imbued netherweave because the extra slots aren't worth the huge increase in price to make. I welcome free bags... hence why my rogue has 8 Onyxia Hide Backpacks .

I farmed the mats for all 20 slots to use in my primary bag slots (not bank slots). The extra 8 slots was worth it especially since I am a hybrid class and normally use an entire 20 slot bag for another set gear to be carried around at all times.

I don't believe there has been word about the S1 gear once the S2 is purchasable with honor. My guess is that it will just have the price reduced some and S2 might be a bit higher than how S1 started at least temporarily. Considering how easy it is to grind honor in AV, if you are really close to getting some swords for your rogue I would just go ahead and get them. You can always get more honor and you can certainly have a ton saved up by the time the S2 gear is purchasable.

I have hybrid characters but the secret is that I don't carry all of my gear around all the time.. unless I'm on my warrior (but that's because I'm too lazy to reorganize his bank to make retrieval easier). My shaman leaves his healing gear in da bank.

I wouldn't bother saving up for the S2 honor gear when S4 comes along. It's a longgg way from now until S4 comes. S3 gear was equivalent to MH/BT gear, so S4 would be equivalent to SWP gear. They wouldn't release S4 until late Q3 or until when SWP becomes farmable by the top guilds.

Start saving a month or so AFTER 2.4 comes to the live realms.

i have nothing else to use the cloth for, + i need the bag spaces, i really wish i could get rid of the default backpack and use a 20 alotter,

as a warlock i allready have 1 less bag because i have a soul pouch + on raid days when i have bags full of pots and raid mats and stam/resist gear i have very little space

also 20 slotters sell for like 400Gold and i sell alot of them

on char are all 20s bank is all 18s + 1 28 slotter bank alt is all 18s

I don't know how you make these in 6 days though when a PMB takes 8 PMC and 8 PMC as a PMT will take 16 days. Making the others as a PMT will only shorten it to 8 days and require trading.

Oh and I "work" with acronyms for a living so I thought I'd let you experience the pain .

its takes 8 PMC, every 3 days i can make 2 PMC 1 ShC and 2 SplC 2+1+1= 4, you can sell/trade the 2 non PMC for PMC, if i burn the CDs on my priest also i can make 8 a day

but im sorta lazy and dont always farm the mats for 2 sets of CDs

I bought all 20 slotters (minus the free ZA one) for my rogue and warrior (on them, bank is all 18s including my old ony bags).

It just makes life easier to have the extra space.

I can't leave my gear in the bank. I switch it way too often both during solo and throughout an instance. That happens a lot being a druid. I do keep my feral set in the bank though since I never really use it being a resto druid.

I'm thinking about creating a new alt. I've played Rogue and Hunter, what's a good toon to roll for quick leveling? I was thinking trying Feral Druid or maybe a priest. They all sound interesting but I kinda dread leveling again.

warlocks are prob the next fastest for lvling, priests lvl slow, warriors and mages and druids arnt bad, people say palys are easy as fuck to lvl

they changed lvling its A LOT faster now from 20-60
