My general rule of thumb is to leave people alone because I realize how time consuming raids are.. but others in my guild don't adhere to that. Course, might have something to do with getting rolled by Rage and BB alot :x

i dont mind most of us show up early enough thats its ok, i just LOLed the other day when i was running into Hyjal and i saw 4 death coils flying at me

I actually decided to head to outlands at 60 last night on my Lock+Pally combo. I got sick and tired of all the Azeroth lag and it's definitely a lot better not having to wait 5 seconds to finally loot a corpse or having such bad cast lag. Also you can't beat getting pimped out .

One thing that is good news is that the drinking nerf has been restricted to arena's only. It was originally going to affect PvE as well.

Who knows.... I went back to EPL last night after when I got to HFP, I realized that my mining was only 296 instead of 300! I could tell the difference once I landed in EPL.

That's good and interesting. Wonder why more of the changes then aren't coded just to be arena specific since now they're demonstrating that they can do that.


But the overall theme of wow since like patch 1.1 (or something likt that) as someone whom played the most gimped class at release is that virtually all changes to the game are based on pvp. About the only pve changes are the ones where they eventually tone down raid bosses once the elite guilds have starting farming them.

On my old server prehardware upgrades there was a general laggyness to the eatern kingdoms. If farming or leveling up a char sometimes you'd take the boat over to spend some time on the empty continent.

I agree 100% and I wish this were possible all of the time. I believe one can design an MMO to make this kind of thing happen more often but I can't claim that I know how to do it.

I believe that one of the main reasons why they are having difficulties making that decision is because while a lot of these changes are focused on the Arena, they are not limited to balancing just the Arena. They also effect BGs and PvP in general. On top of that, when they are considering the balance of PvP, this means they also need to consider the balance of world PvP due to PvP servers and such. Since the idea behind what PvE consists of on a PvE server is different than a PvP server (essentially, true PvE is limited to dungeons and raids on a PvP server) they cannot make certain decisions like Arena or PvP only changes due to how things work on these different servers. At least, they cannot do it as directly as a lot of people theorize.

It gets very complicated. I don't know if a true answer exists due to the core mechanics of the game when you consider the whole picture. It will take a brand new MMO from the ground up to truly come up with a realistic solution to these kinds of problems rather than the band aids that we keep seeing.

As for the lag, it happens any time in EK. It isn't bad all the time and I'm not the only person that complains about it on the server.

Funny thing is this is one of the few things that aren't even in the PTR patch notes, and from what I can understand it's implemented so bad at least a portion of it must be a bug.

A shadow priest as a main is the shittiest thing you can have at this moment now, I don't get why you shammies are whining. At least you still have a little usage with the totems, bloodlust, heroism.
We shadow priest are useless by ourselves in 3v3 5v5. 3v3 for us is horrid. I only do well in 2v2 until I see a healer-melee comobo.
The only saving grace for a spriest nowadays is in BG, otherwise we are freaking useless.
Oh and they are nerfing the frozen shadoweave set in 2.4.

I have since rerolled a pally, going to Ret it out when I have time to get some gears from instances.
