i did not see that issue i had lots of addon issues had to find a few totally new addons to replace some that wernt updated
doing the new dailys was a PITA because it was a gank fest, but i got them done

dod 2 runs through MT 1 non heroic and 1 heroic, you will want to bring CC to the heroic, lots of 4 pulls with varying abailities, we did it with Druid/Lock/Shadow Priest/ Paly and a shaman, used MC and Seduce and it prob obly worked because we are in T6, the 3rd boss is prob the hardest because she has 4 adds, if you have DPS NUKE THE HELL out of the boss and just fear/CC adds, boss goes down fast deal with adds later, you have to kill all the adds and her or it resets when you die.

Kael is almost exactly like he is in TK, summons birds/eggs, does grav lapse, on heroic if you dont get him to 50% fast enough he does Fing shock barried and a pyro, hit our 4/5 T6 druid for 46662, its basicially a soft enrage you have to go nuts to 50% then its easy after that

we pretty much sharded all loot but it is definitly fing nice for those who arnt in T6, really really nice.

itll kick ass for fights where i can dot a ton of mobs like Akama, Council and Illidan

i won at BG and got booted. I along with hundreds of others are having the same issue where we can not log in with our main.

Only had an hour or so to play the last 2 days. On the good side, after patching yesterday and loggin on I selected load out of date add ons and entered the game world. UI looked just like it always did without any error messages so it looks like I'll be fine playing as is till the updates come out. (Possibly just TOC fixes for the most part?)

I know they were supposed to be adding a badge vendor in the new location but they also got rid of the one in shat. Does anyone know where the new badge vendor is located? I like some of the new additions like exchanging pvp medals for honor points but stuff like only being able to hold 80 manna biscuits is dumb (normally have friends stock up for kara raids). I got to go to the new island but it was so over populated with people that it gave me a headache from the lag.

I remember reading some stuff about the new vendor yesterday and they said that in the later builds ( and presumably also in the release candidate) it was changed from being based on accomplishment of dailies to a timed feature. So he should eventually just appear, then go away for awhile and come back again.

Ah okay, didn't know I just tele'd straight to shat and I noticed they were gone didn't go around searching. Thats cool though I'll have to do the dailies tonight.

It was kind of amusing visiting the Lagwell last night. Luckily, being on a PVE server means easy questing, but I learned a couple things. Blood for Blood is a nasty quest since the mobs are elite and have a high spawn time (assumable because elite usually means a longer respawn time). Gaining the Advantage is a nasty little daily if you try to finish it. It involves mining/skinning/herbalizing to get Nether Residue... my god, it takes forever and a day!

I got the PVP gear on my Hunter. It took about 100g to get, which isn't bad.

Supposedly Alliance is actually winning AV now, but that's probably because the good Horde are out playing with the new content .

That's happened before in the game... most certainly not new to 2.4 .

Anyone working on/killed kalecgos? We're not that hardcore, but we got him to like 25% last night but we're gonna have to get used to the rotations. Doesn't seem that hard.

Seems like Brutallus is a monster of a DPS check from what I've read.

from what ive been reading about Brutallus is that if you dont have sets of warglaves then you prob are not gonna kill him. you need something like 28000 raid DPS

Blood Legion has 3 sets and they managed to get him only 12secs before the enrage/raid wipe

we arnt going into Sunwell till later this week prob sunday/monda

Man, MT is serious buisness!

I went in there last night with some guildies, doing the non-heroic first. We wiped a couple times on trash because I wasn't expecting it to be so hard for a non-heroic instance. I can pull the entire room of the 2nd boss in Shadow Labs with even batting an eye, but we wiped to the first 5-pull in regular MT. I guess it was because I'm a druid tank, and the damage is entirely magic damage. Also, the mobs would run around every which way while rooting/snaring me, making it extremely difficult to tank them all. All those pulls of 4-5 caster mobs are an extreme PITA, and that's just on non-heroic. Then again, our group was 2 hunters and 3 druids, heh (moonkin,tree,bear, no CC ).

I also found the 3rd boss 100% impossible to tank as a druid. All of the mobs are untauntable and drop aggro randomly. It's just a clusterf*** of mobs running around and everyone just trying to nuke things down. I never got any rage so I just said screw it and went cat form. I think it will be extremely difficult in heroic mode unless we take 3 mages next time...

Oh yeah, has there been a fix for Omen yet? Last night we were unable to kill Bloodboil because it was entirely inaccurate, and that fight is pretty much impossible without a working threat meter.

From what I've read, everyone considers this to be more of a "PVP-ish" fight since no mobs are taunt-able but they're CC-able.

We have 2 sets, and we've been stocking up on elixir of demonslaying and all of that jazz, but some guildies don't seem to have nearly the DPS needed. This fight will surely be the one that shows the slackers in your guild, as DPS meters will be really scrutinized.

Two hunters are two ice traps - should be more than enough CC if they know what they are doing (a little more difficult since they are casters, but nothing too bad).

Third boss isn't bad, minus the fact that the shaman add resurrects the main boss if he isn't cc'd/dead at the time of the main boss death. Probably could be done with two tanks and good threat gen.

its called Omen2 works fine

as for MT i ran it on both heroic and non heroic witha druid MT

non heroic group was Lock (me), Shdow priest, ench shaman, resto sham, druid
only CC we used was me banishing the succys on some pulls, only wiped because we didnt know the instance and sometimes pulled 2+ groups

the 3rd boss on non heroic i banished a demon dude we killed the shaman and then the boss, some peopel just take each mob on 1v1, you can CC them with most CCS, sheep, fear, trap, banish

on heroic our group was Lock, Spriest, ench shaman, Paly druid (Tank)
pop bloodlust and nuke the boss at the start she died in about 30 seconds, then we delt with the ads who we tried to keep feared and such, ended up coming down to the paly and tank killing the last 3 adds alone, the hunter, lil demon dude and the mage

our druid tank had no issues holding agro :/

Ran MT (normal) for the first time with enh shaman, rogue, hunter, war, and holy paladin (me).

No issues, even pulled two groups by mistake in the courtyard after the second boss and pulled it off. First two bosses burned in seconds.

Didn't get any farther because I lagged in place, killed wow.exe, and logon server was down for the rest of the night

Power grinding to exalted so I can get my Redeemer's Alchemist Stone.

We were farming 6/6 SSC with two Vashj kills and just barely started on Kael (phase 4 with 2 adds up on the first night), basically we would have just entered MH/BT for the first time in another week after 2 months of farming SSC 6/6 and TK 3/4... I can't help but feeling depressed and not very excited about the patch being that we were on the verge of killing Kael'thas and now none of the other officers want to touch him again, instead jumping straight to MH/BT... Anyone on Exodar (A) I could heal for to finish the fight and complete Vials of Eternity?

Omen2 was what we were using and it was broken (for boss fights). Apparently they released like 3 new versions throughout the night but we didn't have a chance to test them, so maybe they fixed it already.

As for tanking MT, I think the problem was the dps were a little overzealous and were full-out dpsing different targets. Hopefully next time I do it I'll have a more even group composition and they'll behave themselves.

I used WAU just fine last night to upgrade all of my add-ons, but I really do not think Omen was working at all for me yesterday as I didn't see the bars appear (since I always play grouped).

Yeah, it won't list Sha'tar reputation in your combat log. This is similar to how it will not list Gnomeregan Exiles in your log if you gain Ironforge reputation. You actually gain 10% of the reputation for all factions in that alliance if you gain it with one. So 100 with Ironforge turns into 10 for Darnassus, Exodar, Stormwind and Gnomeregan Exiles. You'll see this if you're exalted with a faction and you do something that is supposed to provide rep with them. Like I get Gnomeregan Exiles rep on my Shaman all the time, because he's maxed out with everyone else.

wow i played aliance for like 2 years and my rogue isnt even exaulted with Darn and hes a NE LOL

They must have changed how some rep stuff works form then till now. Me highest level guy is exaulted with 4 of the factions and about halfway through revered with silvermoon.
