Well the media seems to think they short on supplies. Maybe the military was correct in that there is not a supply problem.

I saw an interview last night with a guy on the front lines who said that they just received something like 60,000 MRE's. It doesn't sound like they are exactly starving.....

It might have been 600,000 MRE's. The guy they were interviewing was a supply officer and he didn't seem concerned with the level of their supplies at all......

I have little doubt there is a steady supply of food, water and ammo moving thru Iraq.

There may be a couple of reasons to push now.
1. They have shelled quite heavily for the past few days. They may want to strike before they can regroup and
2. the four day forecast for Baghdad is highs of 88, 92, 96 and 98.
