The BB Black Friday deals (I think)

The only monitor I know best buy to carry like that is the samsung 175v, you can find lots of info on it.

All I know is that the thread I started a week ago listing these same items was removed. I had even avoided listing Best Buy specifically, although I did pretty much clue people in on the fact that is was their list. Personally I'd rather avoid going to Best Buy's BF sale early anyway. Way too many people to make it worthwhile to stand in line for an hour before you can even check out.

Now that's special! Site B kills a thread because Site A is rumored to have received a letter from BB alleging that rumors posted on Site A violate the DMCA.

Site B kills a thread because Site A is rumored to have received a letter from BB alleging that rumors posted on Site A violate the DMCA.

I believe that more than rumors were involved. Over at FW you can view the actual letter sent by Best Buy's attorneys. Member bradolson posted on his own BF site that "The lawyers representing Best Buy, Kohls and Target have requested that the information in our database pertaining to their sales be removed." Another BF site says "Per Best Buy's request, their sales information has been removed from my site because it is "infringing on their copyrights."

Isn't that the truth. Hardly even middle of the line crap. I have my new cpu built and just waiting for a video card and I havent seen a decent deal on one yet. Tried to get the 129 AR deal at Crapusa but after ordering it online for instore pickup, I got there and they were of course out of stock. Guess I'm going to have to buy a cheap one for now and wait until Feb when the new ones come out and this years models are discounted.

what substitute will they give for a radeon 9600? a geforce 4? i wouldn't hope for a quality substitute

Wow this year is a disappointment from bestbuy..

The vid card deal, u can get it for 95 dollars online with shipping unless they are talking about the pro version then it's warmer, but for a BF deal that's not real great, the hd deal is lame with the compusa seagate 120gb for 60 dollars deal that's gone the last couple of weeks, I meanthese prices arent horrible, they are just like a normal sale not a bf sale..

The only thing that catches my eyes is that DVD Bruner..

Sorry dun mean to be a thread crapper, thanks for posting it just saying bestbuy is being a disappointment.

Mag's work alright, but you generally get what you pay for, it will certainly not have DVI, only high end brands even offer it, only high end models have low response times.

I totally agree. It seems that bestbuys new CEO this year must be Ebenezzer Scrooge. I mean come on if they want us to get up at 3:00 A.M. on Friday morning and fight the massive crowds they gotta offer something better than this. Does anyone have updated info on which ATI 9600 will be on sale? My store only stocks the 9600SE (128MB).

Having been with nVidia cards for sometime now, I've lost track of the comparable Radeon models. How does the 9600SE stack up against a Ti4200 with 128MB? Tom's Hardware charts don't include the 9600 (any version).
