No shit. The report is out of the HOUSE, which is controlled by Republicans, and the idiots still don't believe it. The reason the report has been quietly released now is because the election is over. Just like how ebola fell out of the news, no need to whip the idiots into a frothy lather until the next election.

The House Intelligence Committee has issued its final report investigating the attacks on US officials in Benghazi, Libya, on September 11, 2012, and September 12, 2012.
-The report concludes that "the CIA ensured sufficient security for CIA facilities and, without a requirement to do so, ably and bravely assisted the State Department on the night of the attacks Appropriate US personnel made reasonable tactical decisions that night, and the Committee found no evidence that there was either a stand down order or a denial of available air support."
It also claims there was "no intelligence failure prior to the attacks."
The report defends then-UN Ambassador Susan Rice by concluding that her comments on September 16 attributing the attacks to a protest came before the CIA concluded there was no protest.
There is no evidence, the report states, that any officers were "intimidated, wrongly forced to sign a nondisclosure agreement or otherwise kept from speaking to Congress."
It backs up six previous investigations into the attacks; the United States House Select Committee on Events Surrounding the 2012 Terrorist Attack in Benghazi has yet to issue its report.

It doesn't necessarily mean that has anything to do with the attacks and the deaths though. To me, this whole thing is pretty simple: Somebody (probably not Obama or Hillary) screwed up, White House jumped into damage mode to spin the story the way that presented the least political damage to themselves (just as Team Romney was spinning it in the way that presented the most political damage to Team Obama), and none of that had anything to do with, nor would have prevented, the deaths. Two of them MIGHT have been preventable had we not gotten caught stepping on our collective dick, or we might have had even more deaths. This is war, and effective preparation does not grant one life's G-d code.Denying an action which our government openly did months later...
It stretches credibility to think we weren't covertly doing exactly what we wanted, months before we came out to profess our intent. This is after Libya fell, after Obama's "red line" for Syria. Obama wanted Assad to fall next, and blood had already begun spilling in Syria. Coincidence?
We were involved in sending arms to Syria in 2012.
