If the BF sale isn't a one day sale we could return/repurchase anytime durring the sale period.

The stores aren't that dumb
You'll have to wait in line like the rest of us

FYI that isn't true, i remember alot of people doing that with some vid cards. You prolly won't be able to with a laptop though. THe line in Cary NC last year at Bbuy was SIIICK at 8am i meen like literally 200 people long

Yeah I remember the line for a sale at CompUSA last year. It wasn't a black friday sale but it was for some 6pm-10pm sale or something like that where they closed the store at 5pm. There was a huge line and as soon as the doors opened, this b!tch from the back came rushing to the front screaming "DONT YALL TOUCH ME! FVCK YOU FVCK YOU DONT YOU TOUCH ME!@#" while talking on her cell phone :|

Some other lady stuck out her foot and the b!tch fell flat on her face. Then the CompUSSR "security" guys kicked her out of the store and wouldn't let her come in at all. Oh man that felt good.

But as for BF, I was at circuit city last year around 3:30-4am and I was still the 20th in line. By opening time, the line had easily wrapped around the shopping complex.

I'm still looking for a nice big TV for cheap. I've seen 32" LCD for $800 and 42" Plasma for $1000. That plasma sounds nice but I'm biased against plasma. I'd really like to get a good 42" DLP for about that price.

Same here. But I'm hoping that I'll be able to finance the TV as well. I see Circuit City having these 0% interest until 2007 sales all the time. I wonder if they'll have that for the black friday sales

Then again, having the PSP with me could make it go much quicker....oh well, will just have to wait and see.

What's wrong with plasma?

Exactly. IMO Plasma is the way to go.

2 or 3 years ago, my first year shopping BF. I went to CompUSA, I was 6th in line at the checkout. It took an hour because the Rebates where not loaded into the registers. They had to use the one PC and print them out from the website. When I got up there I told them I would get the rebate online.

You know how bad this is cause CompUSA loves rebates.

Oh I have nothing against plasma. I'm just interested in getting a tv financed.

Suprised that nobody is mentioning the <$400 projector for use as a bid tv. Thats a great price for a potentially 10 foot or larger tv.

My brother and I were at CC last yr, and we both got 17" LCD for $150 AR, a DVD player for $20 AR, and CD-RW free AR. We were so excited and happy! There were only about 10 units for the LCD at the store last yr!!

Its all about how much you value your time. Standing in the line for hours in the wee hours of the morning when its cold and may even be raining is not worth saving $10-$50 to me. Usually things that get people overly excited are cheap laptops and cheap lcd screens and these things do prove that "you get what you paid for".

Do you realize that if those 3 hours that you hadnt slept were spend doing a job with even a mediocre pay any savings that you had would be reduced to nothing.

Its funny how people who generally make a $hitload of money(your average geek) do crazy stuff like this to save $10-$50 bux per item

I checked some items in the Staples flyer. They dont exist except for the sale. So they probably wont be putting them out until after the store closes on Thur..

Ahh, saving money is fine, but to me it's about the excitement and competition. I saw a fistfight at Fry's last year for a $86 25 in TV. Good times and good memories.

So, which $400 lappy should I go with, WalMart or BestBuy?
