I'd actually forgotten Grouper Sandwiches.

Even though I still prefer a Reuben, haven't had a good grouper in a long time if you know a place that uses real grouper.

Haven't been down to Frenchies, The Hurricane at Johns Pass, or a few other spots in awhile.

Wife made some Tilapia, gonna make a sandwich out of that i a bit have a beefsteak tomato sitting here and a few things.

A good Grouper Sandwich would still be near the top of my list.

Many Various Sandwiches I have consumed over the last almost 57 years.

I just ate a Pastrami with Pepperjack cheese sandwich for supper;
ate an egg salad sandwich for lunch today. I had a Reuben yesterday.

So far the best reuben I've had was at Jason's Deli, they really pile it up with high quality corned beef and sauerkraut along with a healthy amount of swiss and thousand island. They also make an awesome Muffuletta with a great olive mix along with the meats. There's also a local place called Snarfs that does an awesome prime rib with provolone and a really good Italian sandwich.

Here is a pic of one from Central Grocery, home of the "original Muffaletta". Lots of great places to good a good muffuletta in N'awlins, hell lots of outstanding food period, but Central Grocery's muffaletta is still one of my favorite places to grab a bite.
