I am tired of the race winner doing donuts. Earnhardt Sr. was the person that started that, when he won the Daytona 500 (finally), that deserved the donuts. But I can't stand every race winner doing it now.
When Sr. won the 500 that was a big deal since he had been trying to win it for like 20 years.

I believe Alex Zanardi of CART racing fame started this, not Dale Sr.

I think he was talking about the doing Donuts on the infield of Daytona... not all racing. If you want to do that I'm sure there's been a lot of racers that have been doing donuts before mid 90s Zanardi.
