the best TV tuner

Opinions please on the best TV tuner card - one with good quality video capture as well.

And please no suggestions about ATi All-in-wonder or Marvel as I already have a G400 and there's no way I'm letting go of it...

ATI tv wonder hands down, best picture decent mpeg1 encoding.

yeah, i like the ati tv-wonder software the best. i've used the wintv hauppage, seen the ati, wintv usb, zoltrix, and pinnacle studio. Ended up using the pinnacle because it had win2k support, and the picture looked cleared to me than the wintv. i have no idea on the video capture, but people always say ati has the best software dvd playback

Funny how you said "And please no suggestions about ATi All-in-wonder..." and three people reply with ATI recommendations. Oh well.

Personally, I think the WinTV has the best picture quality, but I can't vouch for its video capture since I haven't used it yet. I know that the video capture on my old STB TV-Tuner was not that great. The Pinnacle is a good card too, but I wanted the remote so I got the WinTV.

Please reread Camaro, We recomenend the "ATI TV WONDER" not the ATI All in Wonder.

The Ati TV wonder only works with Ati cards tho?

Wrong, it working fine with my gforce ddr. It just does video overlay, its not a video card.

Works fine with my GTS too as it did with my last 3 nvidia based cards.
