<< Okay, #1 Nemisis. You take these verses completely out of context. >>
Religious people say stuff like "God is love" all the time, and they base those statements on bible-verses. When someone say "God has murdedred thousands of people" and base that claim on bible-verse, religious people say "Oh, you have taken that verse right out of it's context!". If religious people can do it, why not non-religious?
<< #2 Ever thought that the animal could've changed since then! >>
What, you mean *cough* evolved *cough*?
<< #3 Unless you know Greek then I can't believe that bat one. Most likely it is just a weird translation and refers to a bat as a bird. >>
So you are saying that translation has changed the word of God? How can that be, isn't bible supposed to be error-free, holy text? And if there are changes due to translation, then how can you trust the bible anymore? It must have changed alot over the centuries.l
<< #4 with that world one. You are also taking it out of context and it states that the world is firmly established and cannot be moved. He didn't say the earth isn't moving. Probably what was meant is that God controls the world. If you look in the surrounding verses it is talking about that. >>
So it up to the intrepetation of the verse? It funny that when religious people quote the bible to proove their point it's OK, but when non-religious people do the same, they are "intrepeting it wrong". there are dozens of ways you could intrepet the bible, who'se to say that your way is the rioght one? Or the way of the catholic church? What if the way atheists intrepet is, is the right one?
