I would say it makes as much sense as a sit com can, as unless they changed the show, some of the characters had little in common. Having them eat together is prob the only un-forced way to have them all in the same room. I can't comment on the show much as I haven't watched it in years.. but out of curiosity, do you eat meals with friends? Might be an age thing, but most of the time I see my friends it's around a meal.

He's exactly the reason why I have never watched one full episode. I can't stand his character. It's extremely annoying.

I haven't really been enthused about prior seasons, but I still would check it out anyway. However, after the beginning of this season, I just stopped watching it completely. It all started after I didn't realize that last season's finale was the finale because it felt like a normal episode. I guess the cliffhanger was supposed to be the two parents going off on what could be a romantic trist, but that ended up being absolutely nothing. My only thought was, "Why the fuck am I still watching this lazy shit?"

I listened to the last 4 episodes...couldn't see because of eyes. It was quite comforting knowing exactly everyone's faces as they spoke. Yeah I like Big Bang Theory.

I'll give it to them for the first couple seasons that it was decent for a laugh. Now it's just very obvious stupid comedy with more and more stupid puns and obvious "socially retarded nerd" BS.

I started watching when it was in Season 5 or 6. First time I passed by it on a channel I was like damn this is terrible but decided to get all the seasons and watch it from the start. It's an okay show but has gotten pretty bad recently. Doesn't seem like the actors or the writers care anymore and are just sitting back and cashing their massive checks.

Some friends of ours suggested we watch the show because it was "so funny" and "super nerdy". We obliged and just didn't think it was funny at all. Then again, I didn't find Friends funny, either.

I love Arrested Development, 30 Rock, and a realized that I pretty much don't like shows with laugh tracks.
