So yeah, science is a changing field, but thats the entire POINT of science. Everything is a theory. The Big Bang is a theory. There is a LOT of evidence behind the existance of the Big Bang. Jusr because we can't prove every single part of it, doesnt mean it didn't exist. You don't know every single part of an airplane engine right? But, you have some idea of how it works, and the fact that you can fly at 30k feet is testiment to the fact that the airplane engine is there and it works, even if you don't know whats beneath the metal.

Also, on the subject of Richard Dawkins. I agree with him. Religion is slowing down this country in so many ways. At the point where we can't teach our kids EVOLUTION in schools because of religious fundamentalism, theres a problem. If at the point science is restricted because of a religious book or sect, something is wrong. At the point where everyone says that morality is based on religion, something is wrong. There SHOULD be a war against theology, if only at the point where we expel it from the public view into private worship.

And how did those better living conditions come about? Why do we wash our hands? Why do we refrigerate food? How was refrigeration invented? Or the idea of using electricity to perform work? Why do we pasteurize food?
It sure wasn't God working in those laboratories. It was scientists, changing "facts" of the time. Matter used to be made up of small solid particles. Thankfully that was wrong, or we wouldn't have electricity. Sickness was caused by evil spirits. That was also proven wrong, unless evil spirits can be removed through pasteurization.


So tell me then, if life on Earth is crap compared to the "preferable" Heaven, are you doing anything to prolong your life on Earth? If Earth is just suffering by comparison to the paradise of Heaven, I wouldn't do anything to prolong my life - none of this useless stuff like eating or drinking. Why prolong suffering when I can spend eternity in Heaven all the sooner? For God's amusement? To "please" him somehow? Can't I just do that once I'm dead?

With Supreme Beings, we have no physical proof. We have stories, that are thousands of years old and people believe in them and think that the English version they read is the exact word of God. They fail to comprehend that religion was and is used to control people and the scriptures and writing while having some truth in them, have been, not might have been, but HAVE BEEN altered since the original writings.
People don't understand that before the printing press, people hand wrote copies of books. The people that did this copying were typically monks or other clergy, and the accuracy of their copies is soley based on their credibility to not change things to their own liking.
Like in todays age we have several "branches" of Christianity. There's Catholics, Mormons, Methodists, ect. Who's correct?

Now, when I look in the night sky, I can confirm that there are planets other than Earth, There are stars other than the Sun. There are galaxies other than our own.
It's fact vs fiction.

you're mixing religion and God. no one's trying to talk about religion. religion is bullshit. also, it still doesn't disprove that neither the big bang theory nor God started it.

seeing is not always believing. it's believing that sometimes helps you see.

Before the Big Bang, there was a Gods' frat party. Hear me out.

So there was this bunch of Gods that belonged to the Alpha Omega fraternity were sitting around, they're a bunch because as we know, there are many Gods. Now, let's get to the story, after a hard day of studying for their final, they all went to the local strip joint because brothers have to relax (naturally, they're all MEN too, because the women won't be invented much later). Anyways, so after much drinking and debaucheries, they got a keg, smokes, rolls, 8-balls and went back to the frat house.

Fast forward to a few asshole games later, one of the God Alpha Omega brother said unto the others "Hey, watch this!" while posturing himself in a position that would make his flatulence deadly, held a match up to his crotch and let one lose.

That's how the universe as we know it, was created. Women weren't created sometimes later, in another one of their drunken and horny gathering, which could be the very next day...

As for what happened before the Big Bang, I can only guess that they went to high school, before that? I have no idea because I wasn't there. They could have just skipped grade school because they're Gods after all. If you want to know more? You have to ask their parents.
