AMD ATHLON 64 4000+ 64-BIT SOCKET 939
True Power 430 Watts Noiseless
CORSAIR 3200C2 333MHZ 256MB CAS2 DDR Memory W/HEAT SPREADER
240GB-120 GB X2 RAID 7,200 SATA-X 150
Nvidia FX 5700 DDR 8X AGP W/TV & DVI
Creative Labs SoundBlaster AUDIGY 2
8X8 DVD Rewriteable DVD-R DVD-RW Drive
52X/32X/52X CDRW BURN PROOF
High Quality TEAC 3 1/4" Floppy Drive

All of these for only $2671

I am going to order it right now since it's going last twice as long as other computers and it's leading edge.

OMG...ROFL...I forgot about this guy! aaaahahahahahah

I like how he has the 1337 ability to do this:
Michael's AMD SSE2 Optimizations for Highest Performance

AAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA

And too bad, I was going to buy a system but I really wanted XP 2005:

Windows XP 2002 SP2 Professional Operating System Optimized

Make sure you get his special "optimized" PC3200. I'm sure it's SSE2 equiped and optimized for INSTANT response. It's way better than that cheap Corsair, OCZ or GSkill ram:

Optional : Add 1024MB of PC3200 Memory for only $340

Sorry to clutter up your thread, but that brings back some memories!

The computer market has gone bust. It's either the huge players or do it yourself. The smaller stores either cannot compete or will stiff you on the warranty or replacement.

compusaguy, don't know what market you're referring to, we've seen consistent growth since the day we opened in 2000.

Thanks for the mention, xshizzlex! Be sure to check out http://www.resellerratings.com to research any company you consider.

wtf happened to alienware? didn't it used to have something like high8/low9 ratings back in like 2000/2001, before it started with it's best buy deal? now it's rating is horrible.

Nah, I'd take a Goliath instead

ROFLMAO... buy a machine worth $1500 for $4291..get mousepad for free...
OMG...I'm gonna die lol...Is that dealer still on legal grounds?

But for your topic: Ain't you got a nice friend around who is into comps and may build you a custom rig (and shows you how to) for a case of beer?
I often do that for friends

you should really consider building your own system, its one thing on low end systems, but with special purpose computers it is almost always best to build your own. not only do you get a well rounded system, and it is also most likely cheaper then buying a similar system.

| that reminds me of that pcs for all scam. and that blue hippo scam.

nayway, the underdog tends to be more expensive, but you tend to be able to talk to someone you can find over and over again if you have problems. if that's your thing go for it. personallu, i'd just build my own.

If you wan't to go with the underdogs then my PICKs are in this order, Voodoo PC, Falcon Northwest (aka Falcon N-W), ABS PC. All three are established and have good reputations with consumers.
