She's a little soft. It's sharp even wide open at 200mm, but closer than 12ft, it starts looking a little too flawed. I don't know if it's out of calibration, or if it's just the normal trait. My copy of the Canon L is sharper, especially with close ups.

The local camera shop is going to buy it. The guy will see if it's in specs, if it isn't he is going to ship it to Sigma at his expense.

Yeah, except you can't use it, because Canon screwed over backwards compatibility when it changed to the EOS mount in 1987. Us Nikonians don't have that problem.

uh, you can't use it because it's a specific lens for the canon 7 LTM rangefinder that uses an external bayonet to mount. it won't work properly on any 35 mm SLR.

you nikonians can't use nikon S-mount lenses, for the most part, so
