Timings and vdimm?
Inputing timings manually, raisiing vdimm up to 1.42V, changing other voltages, latest bios, no go above 3200Mhz, any higher or trying to set them to their XMP profile would default to 2133Mhz.
Could be because the Corsair are SK Hynix and the G.Skill are Samsung?
Dropped the G.Skill ram in slots 2 and 4, set it to its XMP, booted up, done.

Interesting... I have Corsair Dominator CL-14 3600 which is rated for 14-16-16-36 @ 1.45v and it's been rock solid stable.

In fact I normally run it "tighter" @ 14-15-15-35. *(note it's Samsung B or C die)

Also of note is the fact that I paid slightly over DOUBLE what you got that G-Skill RAM for in early 2021 so don't feel bad!

It's gotta be 3600mhz DDR4 at this point.
If you've got a deal, for DDR4-3600 16GB kit, for $36.99 or cheaper, please, go ahead and post it.

there are still Intel rigs that can officially handle 3200, but are iffy with 3600. there is a market for 3200.

If you're building out a 5800X3D rig, then yeah, hold out for 3600 speed.

Zen 3 does "okay" with 3200 as long as it's at least CL-16. (CL-14 preferred)

OBVIOUSLY faster is better up to approx 4000 if your system can pull it off with low-latency 3600 being the "sweet-spot".

Most of the value DDR4 3200mhz ram cannot OC to 3600mhz. With 3600mhz you are good to go and can OC to 3800mhz with no issues.

I wouldn't consider that universally true, except perhaps for B-die. But very few AM4 memory controllers will do 3800 (fully stable, not just gaming / boot-stable) without a lot of voltage and stress.

I find 3600 @ 14-15-15-35 slightly out-performs 3800 @ 16-16-16-36 on my system. (fastest stable timings)

Further it will do the 3600 OC settings at default VDIMM. (which IS already sky-high 1.45v)

I have 32GB of Micron E-die running 3800mhz 16-19-16-18-36-58 with Cas 16 listed first @1.41v all day.

I had Hynix running 16-20-20 3800mhz @ 1.36v with Hynix CJR sticks 16GB. Rated memory stock is 3600mhz. It did crash after a few months so I backed it down to 3600mhz because that computer is not in my house. This was on a MSI B-350 Gaming Pro Carbon with the latest AGESA bios.

B-die is pretty nice but a complete waste of money based on what you get back from it. Nice to have, of course. I have 8GB of Samsung B-die which is not the same as B-die because those are 8GB sticks vs. 4GB sticks. Mine would run 14-14-14 @3200mhz all day. But crapped out around 3400mhz. Very old Samsung sticks. Team Group Dark Pro memory with the heaviest and nicest heatsinks I have ever seen.

Keep posting your deals, Larry.

Not if you're running a locked 12th gen Intel cpu. Ugh the memory controller is so trash on my 12400F that I had to drop to Gear 2 to be able to run the XMP profile on my DDR4-3600 kit. Which adds so much latency had to go back and set them to DDR4-3200 and manually set timings to run in Gear 1 and keep my system from crashing when compressing / decompressing with 7-zip for example.
