Now I 100% agree with Sanders that Russia does not actually want him to win the presidency and their goal is to sow chaos and weaken Biden as opposed to elect Sanders, but to say there's no evidence that Russia is trying to boost his campaign like it has in the past is just living in a fantasy world.

No, I acknowledge that an analytics firm that I know absolutely nothing about said that 4 "inauthentic social media accounts" out of dozens originating in Russia "had a focus on praising Bernie Sanders". That's what the article presents as evidence. It means absolutely noting. The idea that the deactivation of 4 social media accounts is newsworthy is absolutely ludicrous.
Racism doesn't account for all of the Obama to Trump voters of which there were about 4.5 million depending on how you count the 2008 and/or 2012 elections... that number is more than Jill Stein got in the general in 2016 nationwide and very likely more than enough to have given the Hillary the Rust Belt states and help her win the Electoral College as well as the popular vote. If they voted for her as they voted for Obama at least once.
