If you have a printer/scanner and a bottle of Coke, you can make one of the most epic cheat sheets of all time. This method looks harder than studying...but also a bit more fun or you could just study.

in high school usually no visible food or drink are allowed in the classroom so this is probably not going to pass.

and if it's a college level test, you're going to need more than a coke bottle label to cheat, if they even allow food or drink.

Never needed one, I could always cram all pertinent information into my head a few hours before a test. A few hours after, it would all be gone of course

I liked the professors that crafted open-book/open-notes tests.

They were made such that if you didn't already know your way around the book fairly well, specifically from doing the homework assignments, then you didn't stand a chance of finishing the test in time anyway.

(Granted, there were certain tests where these things weren't allowed - those were for basic things that you did need to have memorized.)

I still think the best physics/chemistry test questions are fairly simple mathematically, but ask you to detail the whys of your answer.

in my last year in college, in one exam, the miss was telling us to leave distance. I jokingly said: "miss who cares about distance, we all have mobiles" she didn't took me seriously.

That day i wasted all my credit sending and receiving SMS of answers. (And also got the numbers of all girls in my class, at once ;-) )

Teachers and professors have been aware of this trick for a couple years now. Try it, get caught, and see what the consequences are.

This is one reason why i quit university. I found "memory" tests stupid. I knew my way around the text books, but i could never remember everything!

I mean in the REAL world if you have an issue and you have done everything in your power to solve the problem, the next thing you do is ask a co worker. After that you can ask the manufacturer or you can google the problem.

Memory tests are things of the past
