I'm "enjoying" NOT working at all at this point since my company is shut down at the moment. We had the option to stay open since transportation is considered essential but since 95% of our business was airport-trips business isn't exactly booming.

Could be worse ... at least you have something relatively productive to keep you occupied!

Seriously, I make film and video so I tossed together one of my best of late that I call CORONAVIRUS THE MUSICAL. And yes, it is a musical.

Heh, that's great. I have sleepless nights aplenty as I have three English Springer Spaniels now, including a 10 week old pup. My wife is working 14 hour days trying to teach classes which include bio labs (now that's a real trick). Maybe I'll dress up as a plague doctor wearing an n-95 mask underneath when things warm up and go into the nearest city with a tin cup. Naa

Maybe you are the guy to ask... My pup knocked over my MS pro 7 and the screen cracked like yours. It's a week old. Grrrr.

I haven't had a chance to call Microsoft but IDK if they'll fix it without a $450 charge. Anyone know about these things?

No clue, but I'm pretty confident that most people just buy new phones when they break.

That screen cost me $30 from Amazon and it comes with all the tools necessary. It took like 90 minutes to replace it, but I'd say like 70 minutes of that was taking it apart, then the last 20 was reassembling it. It included watching videos as I went along and fixed it.

You could also check the kiosks in the mall that fi... oh wait. That's right...

As soon as it happened that is what my wife said.

"Oh well now I can get a new phone!"

"Nope ... I'll order one on Amazon and fix your screen for $30. Our phones have been paid off for a while and your phone is just fine."

That's basically how it went down. I was more concerned about her though because she fell and just about 4 months pregnant at the time and twisted her ankle. And we were in St. Thomas at the time and I don't know if you have been there, but it's super hilly and not a place you want to not be able to walk.

I've replaced the screen and battery on my iPhone 6 so I was familiar with the process somewhat.

Pretty sure I gave myself a panic attack this morning. Jittery, nauseous, a bit cold, mostly my hands and feet, most likely clammy and light-headed/dizziness, and my heart was racing. I also had 2 cups of coffee this morning, when I normally only have 1, and hadn't had any since Friday morning. Caffeine jacks me up, not sure why I had 2 cups. It was like pounded a 2 liter of mountain dew. I was pacing around looking for something to do when I'm supposed to be sitting here WHF. Gave the dog a bath and made some lunch. Feel better now, a bit jittery still but overall a lot better. Probably take a hot shower in a bit.
