I have like 3-4 cups of coffee a day, plus an energy drink or two, plus a regular can of soda or two.

Should be covered by someone, either MS or CC.

It turns out I can still buy an extended comprehensive warranty, so if not covered for free then it's still < $200, much much easier to swallow. I had no idea these were so fragile.

No, I was just reading an article the other day, 4 cups of coffee a day is supposedly GREAT for your health. Prevents heart disease, Alzheimer's, all kinds of things. Reduces cancer risk.

The energy drinks, not so sure about. And the regular sodas, well, calories.

Daily we've been going out with the kids. We've done the high school field for lacrosse, football toss, roller hockey, and running. Now they've closed all school grounds and many local parks. As we drove around to find something open today, it felt more like the apocolypse. We are stuck in our driveway or simply running around the block. We're only in week 3. Two or three more months of this? Eesh.

The cumulative effect of the caffeine from the coffee and energy drinks is definitely too much, especially given your cardiac system is already not in the greatest of shape, and if that soda is also caffeinated, well...

I would guess if I spread the coffee out throughout the day I'd be ok instead of drinking 2 in a row. I drink quite a few Diet Pepsis during the day, and I don't get the caffeine rush for some reason.

Looks like Diet Pepsi should only have 35mg of caffeine, your standard drip coffee is going to generally be 2-4 times that.

Taught my daughter to ride a bike without training wheels and now I'm teaching her proper bike safety and riding with traffic (while there's greatly reduced traffic on some of the main thoroughfares).
Gonna teach her to go fetch you a six-pack from the packie next?

Edit: N/m, I forgot there are minimum age limits on buying alcohol. Pretend I was talking about buying TP from a convenience store.

I would like to brew a few gallons of homebrew but I can't seem to get the energy to prepare this. Spring is the best time. No high temps to worry about. One can make some very high quality beers.

Getting ready to pour myself the first drink of the day at 7:15pm EST, an old fashioned. Apex Legends gaming session set for 8:15 while the gf cooks up some pork chops and asparagus. I'll be doing some dishes later that is for sure

I drank <4 oz wine a couple weeks ago, not a drop since. Not smoking MJ. No drugs. I'm spending a lot of time keeping up on the epidemic... here, links, TV news.

Only movies I've seen since Jan. 21 are:

Outbreak (1995)
Spanish flu documentary (~40 minutes, up on Youtube)
Contagion

I'm listening to some music. Trying to catch up on some projects around the house.

Staying isolated! I am not sure I've laid eyes on another human being for dunno, 5 days? A cool neighbor is shopping for me, leaving bags on my porch, almost all fresh produce. I'm always stocked with food. This is earthquake country, but I didn't dream I'd need that prep for a pandemic. This really does come off like science fiction, at least while watching TV news.

I used to upbraid myself for being a hoarder, but now I'm finding great uses for things I used to wonder why in the world I was saving that stuff! Boxes from Amazon, ebay, plastic bags. I have currently no need of a hardware store, I have most of that stuff on hand ... in case of whatever.

I've always been very self sufficient. It's coming in very handy right now!

Flatten the curve!

I'm there, but I have never had an energy drink. Hubby of cousin laid a Bullshot on me a few years ago and it still sits on my kitchen shelf unopened. Haven't had any soda for I guess upwards of 6 years. Used to buy the diet cola at Costco by the case until the guy who checks your cart when you leave one day was cool enough to tell me it wasn't good for me and I gave it up, cold turkey. I don't miss it. I already miss Costco, though. It's probably gonna be a while before I set foot in there!
