Yeah as I mentioned, I haven't messed with the remote control board or done any calibration at all. I'll get to it today. Trying not to do everything at once so I have stuff to do while quarantined lol.
I was being a smart ass. Sub 30 y.o. probably have never heard of v hold.Yeah as I mentioned, I haven't messed with the remote control board or done any calibration at all. I'll get to it today. Trying not to do everything at once so I have stuff to do while quarantined lol.
EDIT:
And are you saying the v-hold will fix the ghosting type issue I am seeing? I honestly don't even understand what half the monitor controls actually "do". I mean I know if the v-hold is not set right it will scroll the pic all squished, but like, from a technical stand point, I don't "get it" as to what like half of them actually are doing.
Oh lol okay. I mean it's one of the knobs on my remote board so thought you were serious, but you may also be right too lol.I was being a smart ass. Sub 30 y.o. probably have never heard of v hold.
What shorty said.
As a kid, I remember having to wack the side of the tv when it acted up.
The strobing effect of making a video of a CTR mimics the effect of the v hold being out of whack.Oh lol okay. I mean it's one of the knobs on my remote board so thought you were serious, but you may also be right too lol.
Well kind of. You can still see the picture just fine, which when the v-hold is out of whack (at least on my arcade games) is not the case. The picture scrolls with the flicker when it's out of sync. The strobing effect of making a video of a CTR mimics the effect of the v hold being out of whack.
He obviously needs to take the tubes out and take them down to the drug store to see if they are working.I was being a smart ass. Sub 30 y.o. probably have never heard of v hold.
