My friend saw a screening of it last night, might ask him if it was any good. Frankly it just looks like another zombie movie to me. Call my crazy but I'm just sick of zombies, with the exception of Zombieland anyway.

Besides, it's a good break from everything vampire.

I thought it was pretty funny. Better then the cookie cutter zombie movie. It was meant to be a comedy, not a horror movie.

Horror movies mostly just fail, and fail hard. Especially zombie movies

It was not funny and the acting was horrible. I prefer Shaun of the Dead anyday. At least it has actual zombies in it.

saw it last night.

i liked it. it was not the best movie of all time or anything, but i definitely enjoyed it. it was a very well filmed movie as well.

i didn't like some of the 'lets make the audience jump' parts though, because they were just stupid, like one time the guy is lying on the ground catching his breath, and all of a sudden someone from right above him reaches to grab him and they try to get the audience to jump there, as well as the guy on the ground.

i mean the dude was looking up and didnt see this person coming to reach down and grab him?

Except Shaun of the Dead is a satire largely built to poke fun at typical zombie movies whereas Zombieland is actually more of zombie movie, and is a comedy because of the situational absurdities.

At least it has actual zombies in it.

Zombieland didn't have zombies? Don't tell me you're one of those guys who only accepts slow zombies.

shaun of the dead sucked hard. for it to be a comedy there needs to be some comedy in it.

Just saw it. It was okay. Didn't really break any new ground. I haven't seen the original, so I don't know how true they kept to its story.

loved it. of course i smoked a few bowls before going to see it. the gf(who was sober) liked it as well. it's up there with the strangers for me.

highly recommend. i hate going to the movies(dealing with all the idiot morons talking, etc.) i haven't been in 6 months but that movie was well worth it. plus, we had a quite late crowd.
