Finally saw it so now can read this thread without worry! I'll just post some quick thoughts before reading the thread much so apologies if it's been covered already.

The whole Bane/Thalia twist was cool, but I feel like I ruined it for myself just by playing Arkham City (I didn't read the comics). When they hinted that Bane was Raas' son, I thought "huh... I thought he only had a daughter. Would Nolan really mess with the story that much? Ah well, maybe I just didn't know." I'll be honest that I didn't piece everything together, and I feel like a fool thinking all the "clues" were simple movie mistakes.

Kid escapes jail and I thought "well, I thought he was supposed to be older... guess they screwed that up." Kid didn't have a messed up face and I thought "I thought they just said his face was already screwed up in jail... guess they missed that too".

I also wish they explained the mask a little more. It helps alleviate the pain? What pain? What exactly happened to him, and what is in his mask that helps him? It just looks like tubes that wrap around his head into nowhere. No canisters or anything I saw that may help him.

Loved Catwoman. She wasn't a big character which IMO was a good choice because more focus would take away from the major conflict.

Along with that, the entire cast was perfect. There's usually somebody that I don't quite care for in a role, but I couldn't find anybody I didn't like or that felt out of place. Maggie Gyllenhaal was so bad it almost drug Dark Knight down entirely because of her. I feel bad but I'm glad she didn't make it :awe:

They did a good job making it feel like long lengths of time pass. The established 8 years since DK felt about right, and the few months wayne spent in the hole also felt right. Not perfect but it's hard to do such things in a single movie.

Anyway, great movie. It felt a lot more epic than the other movies and on the whole may be a better movie. The Dark Knight had such an awesome and well executed Joker that it's hard to beat it. They're both favorites for different reasons to me.

I saw it in a normal AMC and no one I was with had any issues with his voice, including my girlfriend whom I swear is deaf most of the time. The only people I heard having issues, that I know personally all went to the same theater.

Not sure if you've been reading this entire post; I suggest you do. A lot of people have been reporting audio problems, from everywhere.

Not saying there isn't any audio issues.. just saying they're not part of some deeper meaning. If they were then we still have the inconsistent sound as a lot of people didn't have any audio issues, including my group. Not to mention that would be some really crappy film making when your lead villain (not some other character) can't speak straight and there's no one to translate.

I don't think there's much doubt that Bruce is alive at the end and it's not just Alfred's dream.

1. Lucius discovering the autopilot was fixed
2. Estate lady mentioning the pearl necklace is missing.

The real question is, will we see The Dark Knight Returns in 2016 or so? I'm betting yes!

2. How did Wayne figure out Raz-Al Ghoul had a kid? He learned it from an apparition in the prison? Something created in his own mind had information on something real in the world? I don't know, I tuned out a bit around that part.

he met Batman once and smelled the odor of Taco Bell on Batman's breath.

Then when he met Bruce, he smelled the same odor.

Sure he could...he had two minutes, that means he had to be going 200 miles per hour in his little bat-copter.

They reveal at the end of the movie that the auto pilot is fixed 6 months prior by Bruce Wayne. So, he set the auto pilot and probably jumped out during when he shot the missiles at the building.

Also, Bane was awesome. However, they really fucked up his voice. Definitely shouldn't have just dubbed it on top. In some scenes, it was OK, but for the most part, it sucked dick.

Also, I want Anne Hathaway to have my babies. My God she's gorgeous.

Easily the worst in the series. The writers apparently didn't give a damn about the plot. I'd give it a 5/10. None of the actors were in their role, not even Michael Caine. Bane's voice was soo out of place. Mixing Bane and Ra's al Gul was a terrible idea. <1 minute to move 6+ miles with a nuke.....right, not to mention bailing with less than 5 secs, hello, what happened to 6 mile fireball. My recommendation if you want fond memories of Batman is to never see this.
