I haven't bought much computer hardware recently, but I got my hard drive last month from ZZF and all went well...low price, fast shipping. I can't say I know what their RMA process (or other customer support) is like, but I never really had to deal much with Newegg in that way either...so it makes no difference to me.

I usually go there to compare prices and find products, but the mediocre deals and horrible shipping have made me turn mostly to ZZF.

If ZZF could improve their product catalog pages so they didn't suck, I'd probably switch completely.

NewEgg got one thing right and that's the website.

I still use newegg.

I've personally found that whenever I check ZZF, it comes out to more than newegg. Usually their prices are lower but their shipping is higher, and since I don't get taxed by either of them, I go with newegg. And if it's a small difference, like <$5, I go with newegg, because I've always gotten stuff early and their RMA process is a breeze.

And searching on ZZF absolutely sucks.

I see others agree that finding products on ZZF sucks huge. Especially processors. Usually I browse for products and find what I want on Newegg. Then I compare Newegg and ZZF, and the cheaper of the two gets my sale.

Just to let you know, I just priced a new system for a friend of mine, and on every single major component (HDD, burner, mobo, CPU, memory, and video card), Newegg was cheaper. ZZF always had free shipping, but Newegg usually had a much lower price, and then moderate shipping, which ended up totaling a few dollars under ZZF.

So...their prices aren't that bad yet.
