Selling out implies that either he stood for something or he said he would never do something. Since I don't recal David Carradine accusing Yellow Book of being an evil corporations, I'm gonna go with no, not a sell-out.
He probably didn't get a whole lot from Kill Bill and wants to get work while he still can. I see nothing wrong with it...though i do change it whenever i see that commercial as i like to think of his as Bill
QFT those saying he is pathetic must be kids as he has most of the baby boomer buy in.
A lot of older performers avoid performing since the young today (and in a way more vocal) bash them.
If you know what Carradine was about, then the commercials would be entertaining to you. If you think you are really grasshopper and he is dissing your alter-ego; try lithium.
he's not exactly in high demand. Kill Bill was the first legit thing he'd done in a LONG time. after the first Kung Fu series, he was pretty much a washed-up coke fiend. Kill Bill proved he can still act (better than ever, probably), but no one has been casting him. I feel bad for the guy.
