I decided to dig out my dad's first smartphone (as well as mine)
The good ol' A855, also known as the Motorola Droid 1/Milestone.
Now, this bad boy packs an impressive ARM Cortex A8 @ 550mhz, 256 DDR (SDRAM), 512mb of onboard flash memory, PowerVR SGX 530, 854 × 480 px screen.
I had to relearn how to use RSDLite in order to root this sucker.
I must say, I'm still impressed with its performance, it handles basic browsing pretty well. I haven't tried any games yet.
Currently downloading CM 7.2.0
I'm going to see how this little phone will play emulator games, since I wanted this phone as my little GBA emulator I could bring to school and use. I could use my Gnex as an emulator but I use that for ATOT and OCN browsing, as well as texting. The N7 doesn't give me the classic GBA feel, having a small device gives me a nostalgic feeling.
Any who, I'll get pics up later.
Oh yeah, do any of y'all "recycle" your phones (as in, repurposing them for other uses?)
