Actually, "chuwg" does mean circle. "Duwr" means ball, or sphere. They are not synonyms.

The Earth IS flat... to a first order approximation In most elementary Physics problems, usually you can treat the Earth as being flat. This is true to a first order approximation (ie the more you zoom in on a really big circle, the flatter it looks - if you zoom out you begin to see that it is actually a circle).
